This is the worst transporter malfunction ever. I was supposed to be beaming down with Saru, and suddenly I was in a little island village full of anthropomorphic animals, which isn't all that bad I guess but it very clearly wasn't real.

Then I woke up in a pod of goo, which was gross enough on its own, but then I got flushed down a sewer system and some very nice people gave me clothes and some food. Now I'm here, dictating this rambling log entry so that if I forget or die or whatever, there's some record of what happened to me.

According to what little I've picked up from the people that rescued me- there's evil robots doing... something with people that sounds pretty nasty. There are still a lot of humans trapped somewhere and once I'm feeling a little stronger, I'm going to figure out a way to help.

Why does all of this feel so familiar?

I didn't want to worry anyone, but I should note I've been kidnapped by pirates and I'm not really sure that I'll be able to get back without some distraction allowing me to steal someone's weapon. So be careful. I assume I will see you at the reset.

I'm not one for speeches, which is fine by me since I'm not really great at giving them. Took some hits today in the form of residents. It appears that Dan Torrance is not waking up, kind of like how Barnes did a while ago. If any of you doctors want to make sure he's physically fine, I'd appreciate it. If any magicians want to see if there's something they can do, I think that'd be good.

There seems to be enough stores to last us the week, assuming that refrigeration isn't an issue. There's not much in the way of meds, but I know some of you are used to less than more.

Keep an eye out for land. If you see any, alert us ASAP. I'd like to send fliers in that direction to see if we can get off this ship.

I've been on cruises where I was before and there's always something to get attacked by. All right. I've finished with the inventory of the clinic and organization of everything. I'm not entirely sure it was worth it to do if it will simply become disorganized again once everything resets, but I guess it gave me something to do which wasn't thinking about Elizabeth and the fact that I might never see her or our children again an was worth the effort for now.

At any rate, I believe I came in during a rather unfortunate time, so I'll actually formally introduce myself. My name is Victor Frank Frankenstein. I've been to two worlds not quite similar to this one, but the idea is the same. Taken from your home, end up in a new place. All right. When I fell asleep, I did not expect to wake up in an unfamiliar place. I don't have enough time or patience to have a crisis because of this. The paper airplane contraption does seem an annoying way to go about things, but given it is likely the only way to get anyone to notice it, I suppose I can't judge more than that.
