Well, thus far this is easily my favorite week. Multiple dance numbers per day is my favorite type of workout.

I don't know about anyone else, but my adoptive parents were pretty keen on Christmas. And this place looks almost ready for us to have a festive day.

I didn't see turkeys or leg of ham, but I did sniff around in the kitchen a little, and there's enough to make a solid meal out of it. The rooms are filled with silly stuff that only college students would leave behind at the end of the year, and god knows what the teachers squirreled away before all of this happened.

We can make a hunt out of it, toilet paper the cafeteria, board up the windows, and be finished by the time everyone needs to wolf out tomorrow night. As for Santa, we'll just cover someone in cotton wool and a pillow.

And we can do it properly next week.

I think I'm going to need many showers when this is over.

It feels like I have too many sets of memories in one head. Janet needed a lot more of a backbone.

Observation One: There's going to be a full moon in a few days. We're going to need to prepare for that.

Observation Two: Not as important, but an interesting distraction. Am I going to be the first to bring up the Christmas decorations that are halfway put up around campus?

Did any other vegetarian wake up with a hankering for blood? And maybe a slightly different appearance? I miss the island already...

Sorry if I startled anyone this morning. I made some coffee to make-up for it.

So I was thinking with all the new people, maybe we could make a big dinner? I mean, it'd be a really, really big dinner but there are a few of us that know how to cook, and maybe people could bring their favorite side dishes if we have the things to make them?

...Maybe toward the end of the week so we can be sure we have enough supplies before the reset? What do you think?

I was also thinking maybe a talent show on the last day? Something fun. I could make sign ups for both if you guys are interested?

ETA Okay, I made a sign up sheet here for the dinner and the talent show! Let's do them on Day Five? Dinner with the talent show afterward? That will give everyone a few days to prepare and practice!

Alright, gang of displaced people from different worlds. Tomorrow is the last day in NYC, and I can't let that go without actually making sure everyone samples some classic NYC style pizza. Hey, so, I've got a situation. A situation regarding someone else. I'm good and he says he's good, but ha, yeah, this is 'super hero' ok and not normal people ok, considering he's passed out now.

Anyways, uh, I've got a man down. Looks like some bullet and stab wounds, plus he did not land in a happy place, so he's got some shrapnel. I can get him bandaged up well enough to get him back to campus, but if anyone's got some better transport, that might be good too.

At the risk of tempting Derleth's wrath (or sense of irony), I'd like to take this moment of down time to suggest something. It's come to my attention that there's a lot of people who don't know where to go when in need of various skills. Magical healers, doctors, wizards/magicians/sorcerers, people who can sew or cook, etc.

Basically, I'd like to organize those of you who would want to volunteer your skills to the other Derleth residents. You don't have to volunteer if you're not comfortable with people knowing what you can do, but for those of us who would, I'd like to give them a place.

Then maybe the Welcoming Committee could add this to their note, and we could add it as a pinned sort of post on the network so that it's there when you need it.

There isn't a lot of nature in this city. It's mostly tall buildings made of metal and glass. Zadash was the biggest city I had ever been to before now and that seems so small by comparison. Zadash is more diverse, though. There are only humans in this city.

Also, the trees in this "central" park don't look very happy. I should have a chat with them. I don't think there's anything I can do for them while we're here, but it'll be nice for them to know that at least someone cares.

Hello, hi. Just - an announcement, I suppose? I made an ice skating rink behind the old gym - it's big enough and sturdy enough to get in however many laps you want, or to do things besides skating. The sport with the hitting and the sticks, maybe?

Just letting everyone know, while we're in a place where it's easy enough to pick up ice skates or other appropriate clothing. Though if anyone needs ice skates later I can always make you a pair too.
