This really fucking sucks. Natasha can't leave and I don't know what Steve's thinking, but... my family's there. I've already spent so long prioritising other things over them, between Tony and Thanos I've missed most of the boys' lives, I can't miss the rest too. Especially if there's a chance this is some kind of fucked up Schrodinger's cat situation where no one knows we're missing because quantum physics means we both are and aren't and choosing whether to go back means opening the box and finding out. If there's any chance that I'm going to disappear there then I don't have any real choice, I'm not letting Sarah go through that again.

I don't know what will happen... if we'll remember being here or not. And I know you have reasons to prefer it here, it's not like home is exactly a utopia right now, so if you want to stay, well, I won't try to talk you out of it. But obviously I want you with me. Even if we forget everything I have to believe we'd find our way back to each other. The potential was already there. Fuck, worst case we never figure it out, or we do but we're both too idiotic to make a move, but at least you're still my best friend. I don't really see that though, I just don't. FILTERED AWAY FROM THE LOCALS:

I've seen a few questions on the network about this place, and if this is the original Derleth. The answer to that is no, this is not the Derleth where the network was created and we were "attached" to this place. This is an extremely similar situation, but that was a much bigger town and campus. I remember it pretty clearly from the week I was there.

It seems that there is another campus out and about, like ours, with alternate versions of ourselves there. That means that there was someone who lived here who looked like you, and they've been missing for a year. We have a set time to stock up on items we need, so I'm not going to ask you all to stay on campus. What I am going to ask you to do is keep a very low profile. Don't use your real name. If someone recognizes you, tell them they have to be mistaken and then get out of that situation. Call me if you need to. I'm great at escapes.

If there's anyone in the science fields who would like to assist Professor Sanchez and his granddaughter on locating their Derleth, please let me know. They meant to get their Derleth back, and somehow managed to snag ours. That's not their fault, and if we can help, we should.

You should all know that Loki was killed this evening in a shootout at the Mariposa. Four men in black hats came in. One was killed, the other three were arrested.

I hope you all like horses and dirt. Seems like we're in a small settlement in the old west called Sweetwater. Few people out late at night, but they're coming around this morning. Most of them seem pretty polite, but there appears to be an outlaw around these parts called Hector Escaton. He's got a gang, so I'd be concerned about that.

More importantly, I don't seem to have my super strength anymore. Anyone else having that issue?

So, I saw a world where we were all college aged on this really bizarre looking campus that seemed to prominently feature dance battles. For some reason I had a penguin onesie and Bucky was the lead singer of an emo band. Not quite crazy biology (muppets, frog tongues, donut rain, etc) but it was up there on the weirdness scale otherwise.

Pretty sure I saw the one where my alternate came from too, that week there was a second Derleth. On the plus side doesn't look like he's under anyone's control now, so that's something.

Please know I make exactly zero guarantees, but if anyone would like to try something, I may have a solution to the flashes of memories from other worlds. Keyword being may. It's not comfortable, it's a spiky patch that goes on the back of the neck, but if this interference is psychic in nature it should do the trick.

Generally not a good idea to wear long term, but we're all resetting in a few days so I'm sure it's fine to wear the rest of the week.

Welcome to the jungle Derleth if you haven't been here before. Sorry about the dorm arrangements, we have no control over that. You can sleep where you want most of the time but every reset you'll end up back where you are now. Yes, there's a big void outside the campus. This happens every second week. You can try walking into it but distance doesn't really seem to be a concept that exists in there and it's really unnerving. There might be something living in there, or maybe just Your eyes play tricks on you a bit. The forest's decent though and there's some animals living in there.

Cafeteria's downstairs, you can handle your own meals but occasionally someone will turn up and start cooking, which is usually better, especially since the kitchen's designed for big batch cooking. If no extra clothes came back here with you there's supplies in Peaslee Theatre.

Morning everyone. Gotta say, I have not been this excited for a reset in ages. I'm in what probably was the journalism building. There are reports, dated ten years ago, talking about a virus that was compared to a really bad upper respiratory infection.

Any of the other fliers feel like their flying is reliable enough for a short trip? I'd like to see if we can find anything different if we get out of town a bit, maybe even something we can offer the nearby groups of survivors that they can't get easily if we're going to try making contact with them, though obviously feeding us is going to be a priority. I think we're down three and up two so far this week and there's still two and a half days left. Relatedly, does anyone need anything specific that might otherwise get overlooked?

Okay, so good news first? Stevie and Peter are completely fine and safe.

The bad news? They sort of ran into some survivors and they weren't friendly. I mean, Stevie and Peter were friendly, the survivors weren't, I mean. But no one got hurt! Mostly they just wanted to know where all of you were located? There were kind of a lot of threats? But like I said, it's fine now! The survivors don't know we're on campus. Pretty sure But yeah, trying to reason with them didn't work.

Uh, also I could use a name? Starker sounds too close to Starver, so that's out. Peevie sounds too close to peeved. Maybe some kind of crystal spider thing? That could be cool? What do you guys think?

Good morning Derleth and welcome to an exciting new week. So far we have determined that we have:

• No power
• No running water
• No food
• No medical supplies

Signs are that there has been some fighting, but hard to say yet if that was the main cause of the situation or a consequence in the aftermath of whatever went down. A lot of us have done this dance before but for anyone who's newer, standard guidelines for a hostile environment - don't go out alone/without telling anyone, advise everyone of any useful information or resources you find, and food and medicine go a lot further when they're handled centrally. If you think you need a weapon or if you have extra you can loan out let us know.

We'll probably want to make bandages from any spare linens we've got around and dig latrines a bit away from the buildings. We can collect limited clean water from toilet tanks if someone hasn't thought of that already, otherwise we need to find a source and set up a means of filtration. If you find large sheets of paper and things to draw with get them to the cafeteria, between scouts and arty types we can try to come up with a map of the area so we know where's good and where to avoid.

Another note for newer people: if you look at the icons on your screen there should be one that links to the skills list. It looks like it might need updating, so if you want to add yourself anywhere leave a comment for Nat.

Last thing for now, if your roommate is one of the ones who didn't come back from the ball please confirm they're safe.
