Is anyone opposed to using the walk-in freezer at the cafeteria to store the bodies?

While normally, I'd attempt a brief introduction in person with some digestives and a lovely cup of tea, Missus True and me have ended up somewhere with rock formations vaguely suggestive of [...] well, perhaps I shouldn't make a mention of it in polite company.
But I'd still like to get to know everyone, if that suits ya!
Who are ya? Do ya have a name you prefer? Whereabouts do you come from? Are you from someone's past or someone's future? Does the university look familiar to ya? Do you wrestle with spell check? Do you have a Touch or other skills? What'd ya do at home? Do you have friends here? Have you gone questing? What's your favorite color or food?

We've been kidnapped by a university, despite being here for months no one is sure what to make of the voice message left on their mobiles, sometimes it's in a void but this week we're in a world called Fillory, some of you were inexplicably made royalty and we need to find a questing creature in order to get out of this Lewis Carrol nightmare and go home.
Miss Adair, I saw your messages on the network. Please respond with your location.

This is all very exciting, and if any of you could point me towards a blacksmith and perhaps a dressmaker, that would be quite wonderful, but I woke up with new memories, and that's the bit that's quite disconcerting. Does that happen often?

Clifford doth hath yeeted scrambled eggs at the morning diners of Dexter Hall. T'is such a pity.
For a few morning diners, breakfast goes well. But Clifford is still just a prototype, if with a lens, extremely mobile arms and suddenly, no plates. Poor Larry wasn't expecting such a morning rush.
Clifford yeets a scrambled egg here. And an scrambled egg there! Another one! Larry catches on a certain lack of scrambled eggs a little too late, and raw eggs fly through the air.

Perhaps I ought to be slightly more disconcerted as to my rather sudden arrival here, but first and foremost, I wanted to thank you for the lovely letter! How'd you make it fly? Is it a Turn?
But I have slightly more pressing inquiries - where or to whom should I go to if I wanted to acquire some copper, and perhaps also come to decision as to where to stake a claim for a possible workshop? I will need clay as well. And various others tools.

Welcome to Derleth.
I am so sorry I could not be there to greet you myself, but I trust you'll find your way around soon enough. Most of the students have not yet arrived for the new semester and so I've arranged for [your?] lodging on campus. You'll find a key in your pocket. Just like old times, eh?
Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.
Feel free to wander the campus in the meantime. We'll begin the experiment at [muffled] Hall, on Thursday, precisely at midnight.
