Okay, I'm not sure these disappearances are a coincidence now.

First, Strange was going out of town to get supplies.

Now Eliot and his crew.

This is upsetting in so many ways. I can't fix his disappearance. The only thing I can do is ask for volunteers to help pick up food stuff supplies. Stephen volunteered his time and services for this and we have a hole now.

I think there's a problem with the plumbing in the kitchen, or, actually, probably with me, because I'm trying to clean up the water on the floor and it's really not behaving like water should. So like there's an inch or two of water in here and I can't turn on the tap without it squirting everywhere and I have no idea how to control water on purpose. That's not... what I do.

OH MY GOD WTF. I was out and I met this kid and this old guy and he asked if I wanted to see something and I figured it couldn't be anything too gross since there was a little boy there. So then he said "turn the other cheek", but the way he said it was sort of like a codeword, like "open sesame"? And when he did the kid's head, like, unfolded? Because he was a robot.

Hello there. I'm looking to make friends among the people my age here. I'm sixteen and a half so I think anyone from fourteen to eighteen would be good for this. I wanted to see if anyone wanted to get together and get to know one another. We could play a game or some other sort of ice breaker. I've found that you learn a lot about a person's character when they're put into unfamiliar locations. At least, that's what my Pathfinding chief would say. (Then again, she was right.)

If there's any interest, I'd like to put something together for the seventh day, before dinner.

Okay, after that week, I'm happy to say I'm totally fine with how I am. I mean, not talking about the werewolf thing although its been so long, I can't remember how it feels anymore but the magic? I'm good without magic. Just my normal werewolfy dagger-making Fen self is absolutely fine.

But anyway, way to go team! We're back on campus. People who died last week for the first time, I'm so sorry. It never gets easy experiencing it but I hope you all are mentally okay now that you're up. After the usual people do recon of the campus to make sure everything is okay, I might go out to the Green (assuming its the same) and do some knife-throwing if anyone wants to join me to participate or learn.

I've been at work in my auction house, and since we're probably due to leave soon, I thought I'd open my stores for anyone who wants to own a historical, multi-million dollar weapon or artifact.

Okay, HI, I'm not sure how I ended up here but I got the voicemail and the letter after THOR !!!! told me about them and told me about this network. HELLO! I'm Kamala Khan. This is my very first interdimensional travel, I guess? I mean I heard about it a lot from people in my world like Selvig (who my best friend is a huge fan of).

So, first question... how do I get some non-superhero clothes around here?

I know most of the magic people don't have magic this week, but we could use your help with Luz. I think she's under some kind of curse, because every time she uses her magic--

I've heard stories of placing fucking with your backgrounds and giving you other lives and I guess this is a first. I'm a history teacher at the local high school which I guess is cool? I never thought I'd try that.

But call me a pessimist but I'm still waiting on the other shoe to drop and am kinda worried about the sudden lack of power people have. Somehow Taweret came through with me and she's here and so are my powers. Anyone else?

Where are you?

So this place is called Megalopolis, but most people just call it The City. Sort of how New Yorkers and people from San Francisco just call it "the city." I seem to have some sort of reputation around here as a slacker. I guess that's what happens when your job is "Trust Fund Baby."


ORLIN DAX & BAYMAX (PRIVATELY):

I need to talk to you about Loki. He's been having headaches and some personal and has said that he went to medical to get looked over for them. He told me you found nothing.

But things are still wrong, and he's refusing to get help for the headaches.

I know, doctor/patient confidentiality, but this is something that's transcending the resets and keeps getting worse. Help me out here. Did the scan really turn up with nothing?

Inspired by Margo's FMK, some of us were tossing out the idea of Derleth bingo - a list of things/challenges to do here. If anyone wants to help us come up with a list, we're meeting at lunch tomorrow. (Or drop your suggestions below)


Also, we've got a few more days here and since we don't know what next week will bring, I thought I'd take requests for meals. (And let you know what I have planned so far.)

I was thinking maybe an omelette bar for breakfast one of these days? I'd do waffles, but I haven't found a waffle iron yet. Could also do pancakes again. Or crepes.

Uhh... so Stephen just woke up screaming and ran out of the room and I'm not really dressed enough to go after him and anyway he probably doesn't want to talk to a teenage girl so can someone who's friends with him see if he's okay?

Well since you’re all back now, and things are being proposed for the week, I’m going to go ahead and propose a fucking party of sorts. Whether its a board game one that me and Mal once hosted or a non-magical karaoke party, whatever.

I think we just need a get together that doesn’t involve fucking fairies.

Okay, so Loki and I took a jog around campus this morning. Everything seems to be normal void behavior at the moment. Nothing's overly large, we both have our memories, and the magical sky the other Loki made is still out. Somehow even more serene. Kitchens are stocked as usual (even has some of the fresh veg and fruits we snagged in Los Angeles, it seems), the pool's back to the way Strange made it, and the Green is full of its interesting creatures. And the squirrels.

All in all, it's pretty nice out after the last two weeks.

Now, that's not to say that something won't happen. We all know that things have happened at various points during void weeks, so just be aware that it's possible something will happen. At this point, it's almost a guarantee.

I'd like to propose something. Some of us have been in Derleth a long time in Derleth standards. I think it's time we take Strange's idea and expand on it. Keyleth's help last week with growing the vegetables and fruit for the survivors made me think this is something we should do here. I'm going to be taking out some trees and planting some various seeds. Keyleth, I was hoping you'd be interested in helping me test to see if it'll stick around after the next reset. If it does, we can expand the area a bit for a variety of things.

On the subject of Mobius's disappearance: You all know that Mobius and Eliot were working on a way to get a stable place for us. Mobius has disappeared, but his work is still here. Anyone with science knowledge would be helpful in looking over his notes and seeing what we can do to keep that going. Stability is something we take for granted, so I'd like to get back on track with that.

And finally, I'd like to work on the campus a bit. Maybe do some repairs on buildings, like the Greenhouse. The windows are busted there, and I'd like to keep the orchids and elf weed there. Whatever needs a hot house. I'm not really a plant expert, so if you have any experience, I'd love a few volunteers.

And thirdly, if this is your first time at the "real" Derleth, welcome home.

Okay so you know how there's all these movies about how to kill a zombie you have to cut its head off or destroy its brain? Or at least there is where I'm from. Anyway, it turns out cutting their heads off does not work. You kind of just end up with a zombie head. It's not super great.

So this is a post for all the magic users out there.

I'm attempting to work on the magic issue. There are, as far as I can tell, two possible causes.

One: The flow of magical energy is basically non-existent. Unless any of you have acquired any personal stores of energy or batteries on you, or want to try your hand sleeping with one of the resident gods, there's not much that can be done about that.

Two: The circumstances of the planet are fucked. Thankfully, I do have Brakebills' very own circumstance control panel. If anyone would like to try and provide assistance, I'll get it set up in the library. It has a short range but maybe we can use it to get some wards back up around campus.

And if anyone else has any ideas...?

This week's a huge deviation from the norm in some aspects.

» For most of us, it seems, we're in a world that I'm assuming has been decimated by a zombie apocalypse. We have no water or electricity. The kitchens and clinic have been raided. Even the theater's been picked over for clothing. We are not on the usual Derleth campus. The Green is an overgrown lawn, and the rest of Derleth spreads out from these buildings. Reminiscent of a few other alternate Derleths with full campuses.

» For some, they are on our "normal" campus in the void.

» We can communicate between the two through the network, but that seems to be it at the moment. I would recommend being prepared in case Derleth throws a trick at us and spits one campus into the other, with bonus zombies. It may not happen, but we also haven't had split Derleth's like this so I would be prepared for anything. UPDATE: The TVs on the void campus are showing those of us in the zombie world.

» Butler Hall has returned to what it was when I first arrived: regular dormitories, two people to a room. This could be because we're not on our usual campus. Has anyone tested the wards on the rooms? They weren't working last week. UPDATE: THEY ARE DOWN.

» The zombies, or undead, are shambling so they're slow, but we don't know the layout of this area, so I wouldn't suggest going anywhere alone. You could easily get backed into a corner with a whole bunch of zombies. Most zombie lore says they like to eat human flesh. Need to assess the zombies more.

» Magic appears to be on the fritz. So so super powers for some. If you're experiencing this, please let me know.

» One of the Lokis has been missing since the night of the reset. He was not among our people who turned to stone and didn't return from the ball.

I'm asking you all to please not go outside alone, and do not go without some kind of weaponry. Make the least amount of noise you can, and check in with people often.

I've been updating the list of non-fighting skills. Please let me know if there's anything you want to add.

Wow. This is like when you get home from vacation and have like a whole pile of mail to sort through, except this is... not my house. Or anything like my house. I was in California before and this is... well it's not a white void so I guess it's an unfamiliar new world? Uh. Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.
