Hi, I'm Monsignor Father Paul Hill. This is incredibly unexpected and I think it might take a while to digest...whatever this is.
Is this the 1980s?
And if the campus is the only constant, does anyone know if it happens to have a chapel? If the Lord has seen it fit to put me here, I'd like to be able to continue spreading His word.

There isn't a lot of nature in this city. It's mostly tall buildings made of metal and glass. Zadash was the biggest city I had ever been to before now and that seems so small by comparison. Zadash is more diverse, though. There are only humans in this city.
Also, the trees in this "central" park don't look very happy. I should have a chat with them. I don't think there's anything I can do for them while we're here, but it'll be nice for them to know that at least someone cares.

I wish my dad were here. I know it isn't Empire City from back home, but it kinda is. He'd probably have a good idea of where to find the best music in the city.
Anyone want to explore the city with me? Maybe we can find some instruments to bring back to Derleth?

Welcome to Derleth.
I am so sorry I could not be there to greet you myself, but I trust you'll find your way around soon enough. Most of the students have not yet arrived for the new semester and so I've arranged for [your?] lodging on campus. You'll find a key in your pocket. Just like old times, eh?
Should the experiment go as planned, for one week we will be able to displace time and space itself. I believe with my calculations we will be able to control the effects and no one shall be the wiser. To anyone not directly involved it will be imperceptible.
Feel free to wander the campus in the meantime. We'll begin the experiment at [muffled] Hall, on Thursday, precisely at midnight.
