So this is the void. I don't recognize the stars, but I suppose I wouldn't if they're from the Earth I've heard so much about. My friend Amilyn could probably tell you everything there is to know about the stars, even these. She's very into them. Saved our skin I wish she was here; she'd make some wild random statement that somehow would make sense later.

Well.

This is... less shabby. And less feeling of immediate immanent death. That's something.

Anybody wanna explain why the sky looks like it was painted by a mad enchanter? Or are we not supposed to look at that too hard?

Okay, so Loki and I took a jog around campus this morning. Everything seems to be normal void behavior at the moment. Nothing's overly large, we both have our memories, and the magical sky the other Loki made is still out. Somehow even more serene. Kitchens are stocked as usual (even has some of the fresh veg and fruits we snagged in Los Angeles, it seems), the pool's back to the way Strange made it, and the Green is full of its interesting creatures. And the squirrels.

All in all, it's pretty nice out after the last two weeks.

Now, that's not to say that something won't happen. We all know that things have happened at various points during void weeks, so just be aware that it's possible something will happen. At this point, it's almost a guarantee.

I'd like to propose something. Some of us have been in Derleth a long time in Derleth standards. I think it's time we take Strange's idea and expand on it. Keyleth's help last week with growing the vegetables and fruit for the survivors made me think this is something we should do here. I'm going to be taking out some trees and planting some various seeds. Keyleth, I was hoping you'd be interested in helping me test to see if it'll stick around after the next reset. If it does, we can expand the area a bit for a variety of things.

On the subject of Mobius's disappearance: You all know that Mobius and Eliot were working on a way to get a stable place for us. Mobius has disappeared, but his work is still here. Anyone with science knowledge would be helpful in looking over his notes and seeing what we can do to keep that going. Stability is something we take for granted, so I'd like to get back on track with that.

And finally, I'd like to work on the campus a bit. Maybe do some repairs on buildings, like the Greenhouse. The windows are busted there, and I'd like to keep the orchids and elf weed there. Whatever needs a hot house. I'm not really a plant expert, so if you have any experience, I'd love a few volunteers.

And thirdly, if this is your first time at the "real" Derleth, welcome home.

UM GUYS? I don't think I had anything to do with this, but, like, hypothetically speaking if I did something wrong please don't hate me.

Has, uh, has anyone seen my friends? One of them is an eight foot goliath so SUPER difficult to miss him. Oh, um right. I'm Keyleth and I think I'm kinda lost??

You know, green's usually not a bad color — not my favorite — but this is the kind of green that my sister looked before she threw up on that landing on Saba Airport when we were kids.

Hoping for no anvils and no boots with faces chasing after me this week.

Do you remember that one dimension went to where Noh-Varr and his people took over Earth, and there were all those women whose faces were singularities? Yeah, this place reminds me of that one. Same sort of goosebump kind of feeling.

I purchased far too many watermelons for the beach party yesterday, much more than we could eat there at once. I brought them all to the kitchen, so please help yourself. They are ripe and delicious. I'm heading off to this desert ranch place and bringing some there, too.

I can't believe I have only just noticed the radiant beauty of Kate Bishop. I know I haven't been blind this whole time, so I can only assume that I've been a foolish man. I could lose myself in those eyes and wish never to be rescued. This must be what love feels like.

Since this is one of the quieter weeks we’ve had and there’s no sign we’re actually ever going to escape the weekly resets, I had a different sort of project in mind: let’s make death meaningless. No more traumatic bullshit. I collected some materials from that week we were on Dino Island. If we can figure out how they created that set up, come up with our own version…? Just wake up in a new body if our current body kicks it. Rick did that kind of shit. Apparently he had some creepy wasp man clone of himself in storage he would have transferred his consciousness into if anything ever happened to him.

So, the plan didn't work and we still reset at the end of the week. I'm sorry. Unless, of course, you hated last week and then I can be weighed down with the knowledge that you were almost trapped in a timeline you hated for the rest of your life.

Someone please reassure me I'm not terrible for trying this. At least Rick didn't give a fuck what everyone else thought. That would honestly be easier in this situation.

But we can try again. We can make it better this time. We'll figure out how to beat the reset.

Just... let me know. Some of us have been here about a year now, maybe longer? I might legitimately be losing it or just being overdramatic. This is usually when Bambi would step in and tell me not to cock out but hey, she's not here because all my friends keep disappearing, so there's that.

I'll be at the bar, pretending that I'm just really drunk but really I just plan on being high on narcoberries from Dinosaur Island that I swiped and purposefully failed to tell anyone about.
