Hey, so, all that theorizing about how anyone who talks about going out of town for supplies and then the disappearance notices happening and what is up with that thing? I might have a lead if anyone wants to bring supplies to do readings. Because we’re standing on the side of route 1A with the ‘Welcome to Hamilton’ sign in sight and it feels like my head is going to split open with how intense this spider-sense migraine is whenever I even think of taking one step more down the road towards that sign.

Never really had an audience before running a D&D session. Same time next week, apocalypses permitting? It'll be another one shot, so anyone available is free to join or watch. You can bring the same character as before or make a new one.

Okay, so good news first? Stevie and Peter are completely fine and safe.

The bad news? They sort of ran into some survivors and they weren't friendly. I mean, Stevie and Peter were friendly, the survivors weren't, I mean. But no one got hurt! Mostly they just wanted to know where all of you were located? There were kind of a lot of threats? But like I said, it's fine now! The survivors don't know we're on campus. Pretty sure But yeah, trying to reason with them didn't work.

Uh, also I could use a name? Starker sounds too close to Starver, so that's out. Peevie sounds too close to peeved. Maybe some kind of crystal spider thing? That could be cool? What do you guys think?

Right now it seems like the campus is safe enough and I think it's better for all of us if we keep it that way, so I want to organize patrols to keep the perimeter as secure as we can. With at least some watches through the night to keep us from being surprised until we know exactly how bad the whole zombie situation is and if anything else is waiting to see if we're really bad at this. I know we'll have people out scouting for food and water, but if everybody goes out at once and comes back to find we have a big problem then it's sort of useless.

Let me know here if you want to sign up. I want to set up at least pairs and keep the turns as short as I can so nobody gets too tired and misses something, but I guess it depends on how many people want to help. We can work out weapons when we know who has them and who doesn't, and if you have special training in stealth and survival things then tell me that too. Night time is going to get interesting with no lights and I don't want to send anybody out who doesn't know what they're doing. And no lying - it doesn't hurt me right away if you lie, but it could probably kill you, so. Don't do that.

So this ball is starting to look somewhere in the realm of serious to completely whimsical. In the interest to make sure we're not completely fucked perhaps now would be a good time to make sure you have a date unless you have your heart set on stag.

Comment with your name, flavor on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, qualities you may or may not be into, maybe something about yourself, age range, etc. Even if this isn't a romantic outing for you, let's not sell ourselves completely short, shall we?

It seems like we've got a few folks scouting and working on finding food and medicine sources, so like Lara said, shelter's probably next on the list.

It doesn't look like the buildings are going to collapse, but they also don't seem ideal lodgings at the moments. Might make sense to see if we can clear some of the brush and make some shelters athat are more defensible and easier to access.

Let me know if you want to lend a hand. Bonus if you can help clear brush. But I'll take whatever help I can get.

So. I remember a life in Empire City, and another life altogether. Is there somebody who will explain all this to me?

I've never had much of a sweet fang, but I could not resist the urge to eat this really cute cupcake I found next to my bed. I can't even eat food! Somehow, someway, I did not throw it back up and it was the best fucking thing I have ever eaten in my entire life/unlife. Seeing as it's a quiet dayISH, I thought I'd take a moment to ask for any sort of updates for our "This or That." You've seen it as an icon on your Derleth phone, but it needs to be updated from time to time.

Just a reminder: most of us are fighters. This is specifically for things you can do outside of fighting. Can you sew? Do you know how to cook? Garden? Woodwork? Building things? This is what we're looking for so everyone can talk to someone instead of randomly putting out feelings.
