My sister is gone. We were going to hang out together, I was going to show her my goats. She was going to use her horn to summon Valkyries.

I never got to know her.

I haven't heard anyone mention finding the Derleth campus, so I'm going out on a limb and assuming that we may not find one. And if we do, it may not be in a condition that will sustain us. We should consider that we're going to have to make our own shelter, but I'd like to suggest that we don't do this alone.

It might be easy to make fabric and clothing, weapons, but if we pool our resources, I bet we can build better things to house us all. Something stronger. We can protect each other, make patrols for the creatures so we're not blindly being killed an reset.

I've found an area that seems to relatively safe, compared to the other places I've been traveling here. It's a valley, hidden by trees and hills. There's a lake in the center of it. If we're going by Earth direction, I'd say it's northeast and directly east of the largest frozen mountain I could find. Hopefully that gives you somewhere to go. I think we should all convene here if we can. There is safety in numbers here, and I want us to have our best chance.

I have... Valkyries. This horn I found when we were looking for the ring conjures Valkyries. I could sense there was magic, but this is not what I thought it would do. Honestly, I don't know what I thought it would do — call horses? — but this was not it.

So I found something interesting. There's a legend about a vampire hero, or anti-hero depending on the source. Apparently about 100 or so years ago Baba Yaga, or a version of her here, pissed him off and he stole her magical mortar and pestle, intending to bury it in the ruins where she'd never find it again. Except he must have done a really good job hiding it down there because he never made it back out.

The relevant part, however, is that he famously had a magic ring that allowed him to walk around during the day. It's part of how he was able to trick her in the legend.

So... let's go find his corpse and loot his shit? If we manage to hang onto any magic items we find this week it means you won't be limited by worlds we visit with a sun.

So good news about those badges: if you were tagged, you are not automatically switching places with your Shitty Derleth counterpart next week.

Bad news about those badges: it's an all or nothing deal and I think a lot of us have already been tagged. If they tag all of us, next week we'll be waking up in Shitty Derleth.

More bad news about the badges: it's a homebrew spell that uses curse magic. I think they mixed magic from a few different worlds. But making it a curse means there's no way to dispell the magic or get rid of the badge before the reset.

Strange has come up with a way to detect if you've been tagged or not. Please see him and make sure you're not tagged. Don't assume. This is too important.

If your counterpart hasn't attempted to tag you yet, it's probably coming. We don't have Butler's wards to hide behind anymore. Protecting the untagged should probably be our biggest priority.

This is Fillory. There is a lot I could tell you or warn you about but we're only here for a week. Long story short this place has our best shot of breaking out of Derleth and getting us back home.

There are seven magical questing creatures. We just need to find one. All of them are a little different, and have different MOs.

Our top choice is The White Lady, AKA The Winter's Doe. She and her brother, The Great Cock, live in the Darkling Woods. The Great Cock might also be able to help but his thing is to give quests. Beggars can't be choosers but The White Lady is going to be the better bet for granting straight up wishes.

A note about the Darkling Woods. I plan on taking a route through the Flying Forest. That route is not for everyone. The trees there give off spores or something? Point is, it will get you high af. There are other less direct routes that will also get you there.

We should split up into teams. Please discuss. Ask me anything.

I think we've all got a pretty good idea what caused this week's entertainment—we're all looking at you, Rick. But back before most of you got here, there was this time where time seemed to go by fast. Like, by the end of the week, I was looking like my dad kind of fast.
