EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE: DAY 2
So this is the void. I don't recognize the stars, but I suppose I wouldn't if they're from the Earth I've heard so much about. My friend Amilyn could probably tell you everything there is to know about the stars, even these. She's very into them. Saved our skin I wish she was here; she'd make some wild random statement that somehow would make sense later.

OBI-WAN:

I'm sharing a room with a young man named Peter Parker. He seems very nice, but I think I might scare him. He used to have someone else sharing his space, and I'm new. No matter, I intend to put up some sort of curtains between our parts of the room for privacy. I don't suppose you have anything for that?

Why would you think you might scare him? I don’t currently have a roommate so I don’t have any sort of divider. There are unused sheets on the other bed, however, that you are welcome to use. I can bring them by your room. and maybe take a moment to get to know this young man

I think most people here are used to unexpected change. I wouldn’t think too much about it.

I’m uncertain how I am this week. I’ve experienced a few of those unfamiliar memories and they’ve been very disorienting. I’m glad we’re in the Void though so we don’t have to worry about outside dangers while we’re having these flashes. What about you? Are you well?

I had one of them. I think. But it was in our galaxy, and Vader was there. He was torturing me for information about the rebels.

It's my forte, being able to poke at things people find uncomfortable. I don't know how I do it.

The general consensus seems to be that these are visions from other realities. I’m going to try not to think too much about them. I suggest you do the same.

I think I learned it from all the tutors I had and watching them navigate things. The last year has been tough though.

I'm glad. The feelings and ideas in that vision were terrifying to think about.

I can’t begin to fully understand this place. Sometimes it feels familiar even though I know I’ve never been here. Sometimes it feels like I’m a thousand galaxies away from home. I don’t know if this is a place where we are meant to learn something about ourselves or if it is some kind of elaborate ruse. But I know it is just as unwise to live in the future (or, in this case, other realities) as it is to live in the past. The here and now is what matters. That is where we should focus.

No. Especially not after I discovered why. They were actively plotting the rebellion against the Empire. To say anything to anyone would be to turn my parents over to Palpatine.

I agree. The vision was disturbing, but there is nothing I can do about it while I am here. I don't know what universe it's from, if it's even true. It makes more sense to turn my attention to what is going on here, to helping where I can.

I’m very sorry to hear that. It can be difficult feeling like you’re alone in the universe. But if you ever feel like you need to talk about it, or about anything, I am always willing to listen.

I think that is a very wise choice of action. And hopefully these visions will let up soon.

Yes, that seems to be the pattern. According to the others, it’s usually one week on the campus while it’s in this Void and one week somewhere else.

I won't plan for it, even if I hope for it. I think I'm going to try and meet some of my the people my age. I always had older people around me until the Apprentice Legislature.

There are a surprising amount of unsupervised young people here. It would be a good idea to get to know them. Perhaps this is an opportunity for you to set your legislative duties aside and discover other aspects of yourself. And it’s never a bad thing to have more friends.

There's no legislature, so there's nothing for me to do of that nature. Besides, I'd have to learn new laws if there was. I still plan to help though.

The stars feature is actually relatively new. When I first showed up here, it was just a big white void that only dimmed at night.

My dad is a Senator, and my mother is Queen of Alderaan. I know it's sounds stuffy, but it's the only way we can fight the Empire.

We're really just starting, but I know it won't all be debates in the Senate.

So far everyone seems interesting, if nothing else. It's only been here a few weeks though, so I'm still finding my footing. Do you have any tricks for adjusting for a new person?

In my experience, talking was really the only way that was going to lead to long term, long lasting change. I hope your Empire listens.

The more people you get to know, the more friends you make, I think the easier it is. Especially if someone you care about ends up going home. It's good to have other friends you can fall back on.

The one friend I have here, I haven't seen in some time. I'm glad to see him, but I'd like to meet others my age. I spent most of my life with people older than me.
