TOMORROW THERE WILL BE A PARTY!

I have never thrown one before. Usually I just go to them or they come to me! The idea is that there will be a theme, and that theme will be PARTY ON MOUNT OLYMPUS! One of the best parties I've been to was held by Zeus. We're buds, both of us being thunder gods. The special thing about Mount Olympus parties is that everybody must wear a special garment called a TOGA! Which is essentially a bed sheet. White. And maybe some olive leaves in your hair.

BUT I WILL NEED HELP! I have ale, KEGS OF ALE from Irkalla, but we require music. Does anybody know how to DJ? We ought to have snacks, too. And lights?

It will be held upon the clearing on the Green at... seven o'clock? Should it be earlier? And it will last UNTIL RESET! Please come. I don't want my first party to be a disaster

Just as a general FYI, looks like the TVs and videos/DVDs aren't the only methods for this whole 'slice of life' thing. Comics/graphic novels are an option too.

What do you say to making an evening out of drinking and stories? We can find somewhere quiet, build a campfire, raid the kitchens to see if there's anything worth toasting over said fire, purloin a bottle of something that nobody's going to miss, and see what comes up. It'll be like camping, only we've got questionably comfortable beds to go to once we're over it.

I am not meant to be sleeping in these clothes, though I am glad to have them back. Though the question is, did I even lose them at all? I did have quite the tree fall on me whenever that thing attacked. Not terribly certain that was real either, though I still have this typing device.

Can anyone tell me if there is any tea, here? At all? I need to recover from the fact that I was quite literally sleeping aside my noble steed that happened to be a dinosaur before I woke up, but it could have possibly been a dream as I am fully dressed. In my dream, I was quite bare.

Alright, somethings I have discovered. Would possibly be the same for the rest of you.

I died. My light beam attracted a large creature. I only know this because as someone had indicated earlier, it felt like losing consciousness and waking up later. And I only know I died for sure because I stumbled upon my own body while trying to get back to wherever I had thought I had come from.

So, yes, I suppose you do die but it's not permanent although you do lose everything including your clothes.

I will be a little more cautious but I'm putting up my light beam again.

Seriously? How am I supposed to live, laugh, love in these conditions?

I can hear a lot of big animals in the area and I've climbed up a tree that's at least six or seven feet in diameter at the base of the trunk. It must be a very old forest. I can't smell anything like gasoline or plastics either, and the canopy's too thick to see the sky properly so I can't tell if the stars are right. The only light nearby seems to be this thing in my wrist that's glowing. I'm not sure if I should try taking it out, it feels very securely embedded. I think there's swamp or bog over to my left but I won't know what direction that is until the sun comes up. There's cleaner water somewhere behind me to the right, too.

Since so far it seems like we haven't been shoved into something new and exciting (I'm not inviting it, thank you so much whomever might be listening!), how would everyone feel about celebrating Stephen's triumph of pool renovation with a party a bit later in the week? We've been talking about keeping up morale and all, seems like this could be a good week for it.

I sort of volunteered to coordinate this completely by accident and Stephen suggested I talk to you both about the particulars of organizing it so it's actually... you know. A good time for everyone? So you've been recruited, fortunately or not, unless you tell me to fuck off and sleep in the bed I somehow made.

As it turns out, flying with wings is much more delightful than flying by dangling from a friend's magic broom. I only threw up the first time out with the wings! I think I'll miss them most of all next week.

So far searching out information on a ring like what Mobius described has given me an equal share of useless answers for every guess that it could be deep in the Ruins. Which, Vax, you will be happy to know moves up to top pick your suggestion that we go somewhere dark, dank, and dangerous.

I should have said something when I realized it, but if you see the other me, she's not actually me. She's a demonic entity called the Deathless Mother possessing me. I remem She deals in pain and despair and hate, and the more she causes, the more powerful she becomes. But... it's personal pain. It's not like the pain everyone feels on a regular day, it's something she pokes at. Then she feeds on it.

Bad news about those badges: it's an all or nothing deal and I think a lot of us have already been tagged. If they tag all of us, next week we'll be waking up in Shitty Derleth.

More bad news about the badges: it's a homebrew spell that uses curse magic. I think they mixed magic from a few different worlds. But making it a curse means there's no way to dispell the magic or get rid of the badge before the reset.

Strange has come up with a way to detect if you've been tagged or not. Please see him and make sure you're not tagged. Don't assume. This is too important.

If your counterpart hasn't attempted to tag you yet, it's probably coming. We don't have Butler's wards to hide behind anymore. Protecting the untagged should probably be our biggest priority.
