Monolith - Day 6

The vague and creepy voicemail is familiar. The paper airplane note is more helpful.

Name's Bruce Banner. When I went to bed last night, I was in a haunted hotel. Wasn't expecting to find myself on a college campus this morning.

Melissa? Dean? Natasha? Any of you here too or am I the only lucky one?

I've taken down the anti-demon ward from around the library.

It's too much hassle than it's worth.

Party on The Green

An outdoor party on The Green was requested, so an outdoor party you will get. Don't mind the local wildlife, in a pleasant turn of events much of it either survived or at least the squirrels reset. Personally, Eliot thinks the outdoor venue looks a little Spring Wedding to him, but he's done his best to make it as inviting and magical as possible.

Having a bar helps. The bar that was formerly in Dexter Hall has been cannibalized for this event, so sorry if there will be back to having very little alcohol on campus after this. Hopefully the next stop will make it easier to restock some of those supplies. There's also some seating with tables, a dance floor, and balloons made of gossamer lights that almost make up for the lack of stars in the sky. How much of it is real? How much of it is magic? You had to be there to set up to know.

ABOUT THE KARAOKE MACHINE: it is mildly cursed. People who were around week eleven will remember as that time they broke into song about their feelings. Eliot has rigged up the machine so you'll only sing if you step onto the stage, but your character doesn't get to pick their song. Eliot is branding it as Karaoke Roulette but he may also be trying to get a feel for where the other residents of Derleth are at emotionally and if there are any potential issues folks need to be aware of. Hm? What? Isn't karaoke fun?
