To accommodate for certain cuts to classes, please note that the cap for ENG 321: Literature as Cinema and ENG 323: Theatre as Literature have both been raised. Due to a lack of availability of certain courses, the ENG 101 requirement for both classes may be waived if students submit previous test scores demonstrating strong writing/language arts skills, a written notice from Professor Quinn affirming your interest and dedication to the Academy's Theatre program, or an example essay of 3-5 pages on one of the films/topics listed on the English department's website. Students who go with the third option will be able to submit that essay (with revisions) as part of the regular course requirements.
See me if you have questions on any of this. We will be starting both classes the week of June 5.
[JEMMA] ((link ooc))Per
the group discussion, it's looking like we're planning to move the Clock. If you wouldn't mind, let's set up a time to get it out of there--the sooner the better, so we can sort out the plan.
[MARTY]There's something I've been meaning to discuss with you--the group at large, perhaps, but I thought I'd better start with you. It concerns a certain object that belonged to the man in the book.
[NAOMI + ALEX]I've yet to find any
other scrolls with the other fellow's name on them, nor do I suspect I shall--I don't especially
need to know what his other incarnations got up to, but I thought it only fair to tell you both that I'm not looking for them, so any shared memories you may be hoping I'll come across will likely remain firmly un-remembered. Do with that information as you will.
