I have a request for anyone, friend or otherwise: If anyone ever catches me acting in the least bit interested in competitive running ever again, I'd like you to institutionalize me until I start talking sense again. If anyone needs me, I'll be continuing to lick my wounds for the next month.

As you all probably know, tomorrow is our fearless leader's birthday. I think it would be nice to surprise her with something from all of us at the PTA.
Flowers? Chocolate? A nice pair of socks? A gift certificate for a metric ton of coffee?
I can go through everything arranging it, but I wanted to get everyone's input on what we should do before I just went off the rails on my own. If I don't hear from everyone tonight, I'll just make an educated guess with those that do respond. I realize I'm cutting it pretty close.
