Attention drivers, The Crippled Tower is in need of you!

On the weekend of March 4th, we'll be making a round trip drive from Tuscon, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada, traveling at a grand total of 45 MPH which will take us approximately 8 hours one way. There's very little that's interesting about the scenery and you'll be driving an empty bus in hour shifts...

If you're wondering what the hell I'm talking about, I'd like to direct your attention to a game called Desert Bus, which we'll be playing for virtually 16 hours straight at the CT. The upside? The event is sponsored by a handful of businesses, meaning that if we complete our trip without crashing and burning, donations will be made to the Children's Play charity on behalf of our excellent driving!

If that's not enough incentive, yes, there will be food provided. If interested, please give a shout out here and see if we can drum up more interest. We need volunteers for shifts between 4pm, March 4th - 8am, March 5th. Please sign up here*! It's a long haul, but it's worth it, and if you feel like potentially pulling a double shift we also have a back up driver section. If you have any questions, Samar and I are happy to answer them.

* OOC: Pretend this links to some official sign up thing on the CT website. It would realistically probably require some contact info, so Sahir can form a group to plan with in the future. :)

On behalf of your friendly neighborhood Crippled Tower, I’d like to provide you all with some much needed updates about the gaming world as it pertains to our shop:

• The weekend of Nov 12th, we’ll be having an event to celebrate the release of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The game is released on the 4th, so we’re giving everyone a week’s time to beef up on their skills and bring those skills in for a showdown. XBOX and Playstation will both be available for play, we’ll award champs on each platform.
  
• We figured since the following weekend (November 19th) is so close to Thanksgiving that we’d do something kiiinda in the same theme? If you’re free, come join us for a long haul gaming event where you’ll embark on a grueling journey across the country with your family and fellow caravans. No matter how many players join, we guarantee only two will probably succeed in completing the game. Anyone figured it out yet? … That’s right, Oregon Trail. Snacks will be included, typhoid will not be.
  
• We’re thinking about adding some gaming books and kits to the shop. Like tabletop. We’re also thinking about running a Pathfinder group. Anyone maybe kinda sorta interested?
