E-MAIL TO ALL ACADEMY PROFESSORS
I’ve been sitting on this e-mail, trying to figure out a way to best relay the worst kind of news. In an effort to be as transparent as I possibly can be as we continue to adjust without Tuttle, I’m just going to come out with it without coloring it as a pretty picture.
Much of the funding the Academy has been receiving has been paid out of Tuttle’s own pocket. The financials are a mess. Without him to be able to say one way or another, we’re in a right mess, and that means drastic action needs to be taken.
In most cases, we’re cutting classes with the fewest students enrolled and the classes who have the lowest attendance records. There is, unfortunately, going to be some terminations, effective immediately.
I’ll be calling affected Professors into my office starting immediately.

As some of you may already be aware, Thomas Tuttle was admitted to the hospital yesterday at approximately 4:00 PM. As of 9:00 AM this morning he is still comatose and has not responded to any treatments that have been administered to him. I think we can all agree that Thomas is a great man, and his absence is already noticed and greatly missed. If anyone needs to talk, professionally or not, I’m here for you. My doors will always be open. Time off is also available for those of you who are especially close to him.
