The Deadly Magical Items Exhibit, a collaboration between the Business Office and The Woodsbridge Institute of Art, will be opening Friday, October 7th, and running until Monday, October 10th. There will be a number of objects on display, and a great deal of information about said objects will be available to the public. I can’t tell you much now — and neither can the other Archaeologists, so please don’t pester them — but I can give you a teaser.
The archaeologist who found the Spinning Wheel from Sleepy Beauty documented the following story: a Tale outside Woodsbridge took it upon herself to start hunting down magical objects on her own. (Please don’t do this.) When she found the spinning wheel, she assumed it worked just as it did in the story — if she touched it, her husband’s kiss would wake her. It was a reasonable assumption to make, but, unfortunately, it didn’t work.
I know there are those of you who resent not being able to acquire a certain item from your tale, but some of these items are simply too dangerous to be released to the public. So! Save the date in your Google calendars.
