Today, starting at 10 AM, the crack in the sky will reappear slowly. It will be a sliver at first before growing bigger and bigger. By 12 PM, it will have spanned across town.
At 1 PM, the scrolls will begin to fall
slowly-- almost like a gentle snowfall, gliding and drifting their way peacefully all across town-- over rooftops. In the branches of trees and in the water of ponds. On the golf course of the Registered Tales Only club. In the worse parts of Mulberry. In nooks in crannies-- some will undoubtedly be lost and never found. Others will demand it.
They fall until 6PM, at which point the crack slowly begins to close back up, with no balloon in sight.
Physically, the scrolls are of medium size. They’re
fairly plain looking, and have no particular glow about them. In fact, if anyone happened to stumble on one without knowing they came from the sky, you might not look twice at it. On these scrolls, written in plain, black cursive are Tale Names: Robin Hood, Old King Cole, Baba Yaga. There is one for every Tale who has had a life previous to this one.
