[Early on Friday morning, an announcement goes out from LVPD that a man has been found dead in his house in a quiet, residential neighborhood, and a witness is being interviewed. Details of the killing begin to trickle out in the next few hours. By morning, local papers run a story on a man brutally beaten to death in his home, and quote a woman, as yet unnamed, who was picked up on the street just outside. She tells a story of blacking out after being approached by the victim in an alley, and then waking up tied to his bed, about to be assaulted be him. She doesn't remember much after that, trauma apparently having taken its toll, just that someone saved her. Word is that she will not be charged with anything, since DNA on the towels used to tie her to the bed and her concussion corroborate her story. There is also word of a 911 call, possibly made by the killer, but this has yet to be released to the press.]
