You know, when a man tells you one of his privateers has gone rogue and started raiding his own shipping lines, you say fine, not a problem, more than happy to fight fire with fire if the gold is good. You don't exactly expect to find his daughter on the vessel, though, once you've put a few dozen holes in it. You're left with the question of etiquette. Is she meant to go back to the king with the best treasures from the ship, as requested, or into the brig with all the other traitors who've turned brigand, as requested? The fish fork, or the dessert? Decisions, decisions.

So, being one of the new kids around here, I figure I should probably introduce myself. Unless this is like high school where the teacher makes you talk about yourself and no one actually cares about what the geeky girl in glasses is talking about. Which is probably the case, actually. I'm Haley Kenealy. I'm 28 and I'm a video game designer. I'd been living out in California for the last ten years, but just got transferred to Vegas for my work. Tired and sore but still excited, Haley collapsed onto the purple couch in her living room. The rest of her new apartment was covered in a sea of moving boxes that had just been unloaded. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and dialed her brother's number. After ringing twice, she heard him answer the line.

"What's up, bitch? Guess who's in Vegas? Hollaaaaaaa." [ she pauses and clears her throat ] "Okay, yeah. I still can't pull that off. But whatever. I'm here!"

Where are the village fires? The snow is thicker than ever it has been.
