Some scavengers attacked while we were at the ship graveyard. We managed to stop them for a bit, but most of them got away. However, they ditched their captain, left him behind. Which he was really proud of them for, and really angry.

He doesn't seem to remember me or Sabine, however, despite that we both know him.

I know where we are. This is the ice planet of Hoth.

Your Our campus is not too far out from an abandoned military base. Loki and I came upon it this morning. While we've not explored the entirety of the base, I recognized not only the technology but the ships and uniforms that are scattered throughout the facility.

There are supplies we can take as our own should we wish. The rebel alliance, who had outfitted this base during it's prime, will not return to Hoth. It's quite clear we're at some point following their discovery. I'm just not certain how far after. If we can establish communications then, perhaps, we can get a better idea but [...] my educated guess is several years have gone by.

I would recommend if anyone is trying to explore in greater detail they come here first, at the very least to get some protection against the elements. The rebels fled Hoth in a hurry so there are still useful supplies. I've taken a proper coat for myself as well as some boots and headgear.

If you'd like a guide to the base, I will be leaving to return for further exploration after sunrise.

Oh, so, uh, Billy and I were flying around bubbled and it was completely 100% safe but we didn't get very far because we were talking about yetis earlier before we went but then we saw yetis and I'm not sure if that means things we talk about just appear here like an illusion or a not-illusion, so maybe don't talk about anything really dangerous showing up, but we thought at the time maybe we shouldn't bother them.

They were pretty big. And they're kind of walking in our direction, but they might not show up? They could be shy yetis? I mean, it was just a flyby, but when we saw them we thought we should head back and tell everyone here just in case, so we didn't really get a good look around yet.

Does anyone know if yetis talk? Do we need a Yeti Ambassador? I could be a Yeti Ambassador. I didn't realize they were real outside of Disney.

It's still dark out right now, but I don't recommend going out unless you have adequate clothing for snow Pretty intense ice and snow. Well below freezing temperatures. I'm not sure where we are, but we're going to need a few recon teams once the sun comes up (assuming that it does) to figure out what we're looking at

Are we just in a massive blizzard?
Is there anything around?
Does it look familiar to anyone?
Does anyone have any winter appropriate clothing to spare?

The Green's completely frozen. I would not recommend crossing to any of the other buildings without proper clothing or with a portal/teleportation of sorts. Didn't get a great view in the dark, but one of the squirrels is completely frozen on Butler Hall's front steps.

But there'll likely come a time when we're missing this food again and it got me thinking to when me and Sam were talking about the possibility of batch cooking and freezing it whenever there was actually a downtime so that there'd be a supply of ready to go food.

I've gotten a fair bit of information out of him, but it's tricky picking the parts that are true, out of any potential fallout.

Tim, it looks like you confirmed that the Monolith is an extension of the Eye from your universe in the new teenager's post. Can you tell us a little more about that? (I'm not sure if this information is true or not, but if you touched the monolith and still have nightmares and feel like you're being studied, he claims the way to fix that is to gouge your own eyes out. I don't recommend that, but I didn't touch it so I have no idea what kind of struggle that is for those who did.

Loki, I'd like to talk to you about the statement you gave to Jonathan Sims when he was here.

Was anyone working with Professor Sanchez during that version Derleth... universe where we weren't ourselves?

Michael claims there's a point in the reset that he and Janet exploited to get into this Derleth. Fraction of a nanosecond kind of thing. We really could really use Sanchez right about now for this. That was kind of his forte. Where's Stark when you need him He must have found it that one time he tried to pause us in Planet Vegas, or was close enough to cause issues.

Am I still married? So there's a lot of new faces around.

Don't panic.

On all sides.

For the new arrivals: you're in a pocket dimension. We don't know who did it or why, but a good chunk of us have been here for months. Every week, the campus resets to the way it was this morning. Most people fall asleep or go unconscious during the reset and wake up in their rooms. The reset includes you. However you arrived, whatever condition you were in and the clothing you were wearing resets as well. If you're injured, please flag me down. You probably have a key on you somewhere. Look for it. If you don't, let me know and we'll figure out a place for you to stay.

If you're new here, introduce yourself. If you're not, introduce yourself. Let's try to keep it in this one place so people don't get lost.

I'll start. I'm Natasha Romanoff. I'm from a dimension with superheroes, if you know what those are. If you don't, it's people with powers or abilities who used it to protect our planet and the people on it.

At the risk of tempting Derleth's wrath (or sense of irony), I'd like to take this moment of down time to suggest something. It's come to my attention that there's a lot of people who don't know where to go when in need of various skills. Magical healers, doctors, wizards/magicians/sorcerers, people who can sew or cook, etc.

Basically, I'd like to organize those of you who would want to volunteer your skills to the other Derleth residents. You don't have to volunteer if you're not comfortable with people knowing what you can do, but for those of us who would, I'd like to give them a place.

Then maybe the Welcoming Committee could add this to their note, and we could add it as a pinned sort of post on the network so that it's there when you need it.

If you're interested, let me know what skills you're offering.

This is New York City, 1983.

Don't fool yourself. This city is dangerous right now. Homelessness and crime are huge problems that were not dealt with in any way that was remotely helpful. Be careful on the subways. Homicides were double what they were in my current time. Drugs were highly prevalent. All those movies about NYC being a gritty place to get a beat down, like Taxi Driver? Yes.

For you vigilante types, you'll enjoy getting to kick some butt.

For you who want to chill out, Central Park (where we've landed) is not the place to do that.
