[WRITERS OF THE WOODSBRIDGE TALEWIND]
Good morning :)

I'm going to be running errands around town today, a couple of meetings here and there, but I have a couple of things I wanted to talk to you all about, and I figured this way we could all multitask!

Firstly: I've mentioned before that I would like to make our publication a bit more [...] up to date with modernity, while retaining its [...] vintage charm. While we are not going to become Buzzfeed overnight -- nor, I believe, do we wish to -- I think a good first step to this would be if we all had professional accounts on social media (particularly Twitter and Instagram), and kept up with them regularly. The only requirements would be keeping a clean image and making sure your occupation and affiliation with the Talewind is stated somewhere obvious. This isn't a strict must, but I think it would be really helpful.

Secondly, and relatedly: the Faire is coming up, and I think we should do something for it! Arjun, as you all may remember, did not care for its frivolity, but I don't think it would do us any harm. We could have a couple of events or activities, to fundraise. Opening ourselves up to alternative sources of funding might alleviate some of the criticism against the publication, and hosting a couple of fun things might also get us to be better known in the community. I was thinking about one of those booths where hitting the target with a ball drops someone into a pool of water? What are those called?

So, does anyone want to volunteer to be dropped into a pool of water, and do you have other ideas for potential hosted games? Also, other than funding for ourselves, what charitable causes or efforts could we offer to help out with with an event?
