Candi sat in her living room staring at the pretty blue bottle in front of her. She had sent Remy a picture of the text on it and he had translated it for her. The vampire had repeated it to him a couple times, away from the bottle. But now she found herself staring at it, curious and nervous at the same time.

"If you are what I think you are little one, I could be unleashing some serious hell on this place..." Candi bit her lip and then smiled to herself. "Oh what the hell, it's not like it hasn't happened before." She knew Remy would probably be mad at her for not waiting for him but Candi didn't care, she was impatient and wanted to see what or who was inside the bottle.

She picked up the cool, glass bottle and rubbed her fingers over the words, saying them the way Remy told her to and waited to see if anything happened.

Remington was exhausted when he got back from rounds around 1am. He’d worked a double to cover for one of the guys who had a date. Toeing off his shoes and pulling off his shirt without ceasing movement from the front door to the bedroom, he then pushed off his pants as he flopped down onto the bed with a long, tired sigh. “I swear.. if I have to tell one more fifteen year old to go to bed, only to hear ‘only if you join me’ in return... I’m gonna put a bullet through my skull.” Remington was used to having students flirt with him, some being MORE than obvious and inappropriate about it, but it still irritated him. Were all supernatural teenagers so hard up for sex?

Candi was in an unbelievably good mood, she was sure she had never been this happy, except when she had been pregnant. After she had gotten dressed, the woman ran outside and then ran back inside for a sweater; it was a little chilly when the wind blew. Even that made her smile, temperatures affected her again. When Candi walked outside she immediately lifted her face to the sun and smiled, it felt so good she never wanted it to go away again; but in the pit of her stomach she knew it would.

The non vampire was walking over campus when she saw someone she hadn’t seen in awhile. Fox was leaning against a tree, as far from anyone as he could possibly get. Candi didn’t really think about it she just made her way over to him, thrilled down to her toes with the knowledge she could touch him and it wouldn’t cause any small amount of pain.

Candi kept fidgeting as the man tried to take her measurements for the wet suit, she wasn’t interested in this part, just in the sunshine that was trying to break through outside. Despite Charlie’s warning, Candi went off with Xander as planned to Boston, she was not going to be able to resist being on a boat and going diving..sunbathing nude! When Cassie got the text to go to Jason's room she sighed. She had been warning him he needed to sleep, and trying to come up with solutions, but he was determined to protect the both of them himself, and she really had no idea where he had disappeared to this afternoon. The demon really wasn't surprised it had come to this.

Of course she didn't hesitate in heading to his room as the mystery texter told her to, she'd do anything for Jason, except stay away when he wanted to protect her apparently. Knocking on the door gently, Cassie opened it slowly and poked her head in to see who 'us' was, and what the situation was. Seeing her boyfriend asleep, she looked to Candi and smiled softly, coming in. "Hi. Candi right? Thanks for the text."

Wolf slipped into Jason's dream as easily as he ever did and searched out the young man. Wolf smiled when he found him playing with his football. "Jason my boy, this is so boring compared to your other dreams." He said as he came closer. "We will have to fix that." He smiled as the field disappeared and the coyote pack appeared around them. Candi laughing as a five year old Jason ran around her feet and a small blonde girl sat in the grass watching them.

Jason had been avoiding classes the past week because he knew he looked like a wreck and he didn't want anyone to comment on them. But he went to one today. Lycan lore. The one Candi taught. He sat in the back of the class, knowing that she would smell him and that it was enough. When class was dismissed, he stayed in his chair. "I need to talk to you," he said softly.

It was a frustrating admission, but Nic was getting very good at hiding. He hated that he had to lay low here, but he knew that it was not yet safe to be out and about. He had to stay out of sight, especially since he knew that Linc and his men were nearby and they would not hesitate in putting a bullet in him. So for now, he was trapped inside, letting frustrations bew in his own head and keeping to himself. There were many people that he passed in the hallways, all smelling in one way or another, and none of them drew his attention... until today.

A beautiful, blonde woman swished past Nic is a haze of golden hair and sauntering hips and limber legs, her scent carried on the air as she passed. He breathed her in, pausing in surprise and then turning around to look at her. She was coyote. It was overpowered by a stronger scent, a vampire's scent, but it was there nonetheless. "Nahual," he breathed, jogging to catch up with her and touching her arm to garner her attention. "You are coyote, yes?" His accent was obvious, spanish. "Also I am as well. We are the same." He actually smiled, pleased by this discovery.

After his chat with Riley, which helped to clear the air a bit, Remington felt better. He understood why his brother was 'jealous' even if it wasn't logical. Riley would simply need to work through his insecurities, because he had nothing to worry about, not really. Charlie simply got along better with Remington because it was easier to share his company. You had to care about someone in order to get upset over the things they did. She didn't care all that much for Remington, at least not beyond a new friendship.

He headed for the rec center to do his physical therapy. It involved a great deal of stretching and light weight lifting. When he was done, he felt really sore, but he needed a long cool down or his muscles would cramp up. He decided the pool would give his muscles a chance to come down from the exercise without going into shock.

After changing into his trunks, he dove into the deep end. Swimming was great. It allowed him to feel somewhat normal. He didn't limp in the water, and his scars weren't really visible so long as his legs were submerged. He took it easy, just some lazy freestyle laps up and down the length of the pool.

Candi was moving quickly across campus faster than most, she had just woken up and needed to see Charlie. She ran up the stairs of his building and started knocking on his door, she had no idea if he was awake yet and she didn't care she would stay there until he did. She leaned on the door and glanced down at herself realizing she was still just wearing her pajamas, boy shorts and a thin tank top. "Way to go Candi," she mumbled to herself.

Remington was lucky to not crash his new truck or get pulled over as he sped back to TJS from his brother's place. His mind was a wreck right now. Learning about what had nearly happened as a result of him leaving home when he was eighteen made him hate himself. Obviously, it was their father's fault first and foremost, but Remington couldn't shake the guilt. If he'd stayed, his dad would have left Riley alone. Remington could have continued to take the majority of the abuse and protect his siblings as much as possible.

He was limping worse than normal as he climbed out of the truck and headed back toward the staff building. Running through Riley's house and collapsing on the hard tile floor of the bathroom had done a number on his legs. He was pushing himself far too much. Part of his recovery involved resting, and he wasn't doing enough of it. He was also now bleeding through the gauze on his right hand which most definitely had some broken bones from punching the wall. What a mess. He'd gone over to see Riley in an effort to smooth things over, and it felt as though there was even more tension between them.

What: Jason finds out someone from his past has come back from the dead.

Candi tossed her blonde hair out of her face and made her way down the field on her four inch stiletto boots. She walked down the center of it towards her son, not really caring that she was interrupting the other people on the field. All Candi cared about was getting closer to her son, she was concerned over what he would say and do, she did leave him behind after all...even if it wasn't her fault. Her sire had painfully insisted, but now he told her that she should know her son, which made Candi suspicious of his intentions. However he gave a direct order to seek him out and talk to him, tell him who she was...so she had no choice she had to talk to her son.

Charlie was looking forward to getting to know Candi. She seemed nice, and given her son's relationship with Cassie, it would be good for them to be friends. Plus, Charlie could use some more friends. He'd felt isolated in recent months and hadn't branched out as much as he should have. That was starting to change, and Candi could help further that progress.

He showed up at her apartment when he said he would and knocked lightly. Charlie waited, stretching his neck side to side. He was eager to warm up and get in a quick workout before class. Charlie liked to be loose and prepared as he started each lesson.
