Who: Duncan and Go'al'enu
Where: general outside-area
When: Monday, sunset
What: Duncan catches Go doing Tai Chi, and is amazed and amused.

Duncan made it a habit to take a very long walk every evening, from a little after dinner to just before bed time. He often wished he had someone to bring along -- even a dog, but, he wasn't sure if pets were allowed, and, if he were, how he'd acquire one -- but was generally content to just entertain himself for the adventure. Tonight's walk was more about exploration than relaxation; he was new to the area and wanted to learn more about it.

He was almost ready to turn around when he saw a tiny mobile tidal wave of dirt pass him on his right side. It was just in the farthest reaches of his peripheral vision, so, for a moment he thought he was seeing things, but when he pivoted on a heel to turn in the direction of where he thought he saw flying earth, he saw it again.

"Oooooh," he said, aloud, to himself, and immediately went toward the source of the uprising. He was careful not to go too close too quickly, unwilling to be swept up in the storm. He settled in at a safe distance, against a tree, and crossed his arms over his chest. He supposed he could fit "watching in wonder" to his nightly routine. He had no real agenda.

Who: Go'al'enu and Tad
Where: classroom
When: Control: Earth Beginner time
What: teaching!

''Let me ask you, if I was very angry and I demanded that you move, would you want to move easily, or would you try your hardest to stand in place and defy me? And if I keep yelling at you and then try to move you by force, you may move out of terror, but that will not be a very controlled move.'' )

Who: Tad and Go'al'enu
Where: the hallways
When: late afternoon
What: Tad arrives.

Lucile had left an hour ago and Tad missed her already. He worried that she stuck him in this place for good, so he would never see her again. The thought was one of the scariest he ever had and he did not know how to deal with it. His solution was one of the few reactions he knew: make stone hurt like he was hurting. It was good that the building had lots of stone, meaning a while of entertainment for him. He stormed the hallways, placing his hand on the wall every few paces and blowing out a chunk of the stone. The shattering noise was satisfying and Tad decided to continue until the pain in his chest went away and his eyes stopped watering. He did not want to be forced to sit in a stuffy room and learn things again, with weird looking men telling him what to do.

Not good at all. A new surge of anger overwhelmed him so much that he picked up a piece of brick he had knocked to the floor and threw it down the hallway. What could he do now? Where was the door to the backyard of the school? The new goal in mind brought him new determination and Tad began to run, turning right and then left at the end of another corridor. Still no sign of an exit and so he started to panic as well as being angry. If there wasn't a door that looked like it went outdoors soon, then he would have to make one.

It was then, as he ran, that he saw someone in front of him. Oh no, another person! Should he run around them or head back the way he came? He stopped in his tracks and sized them up with look. He had not met many people in his life and doubted if he could trust the person in front of him. "Move!" he yelled. That was to be only warning he'd give. People responded to him yelling with a bad face, so he figured it was a good way to get his way.

Who: Go'al'enu and Adora
Where: Adora's apartment
When: Evening
What: Go'al'enu has some questions and Adora has come "concerns"
Rating: TBD

Go'al'enu had brought along a 10 year old bottle of Blackberry Zinfandel, as he had promised for his conversation with Adora. After all, it was only customary when one was seeking information, to offer a gift, and it had been a bit since he had chatted with his old friend. He was dressed in his usual casual suit, choosing for an earthy look with a green shirt and brown tie to contrast with the black coat and jacket he wore.

He was a tad nervous at the tone that Adora had held during their exchanges over notes, and hoped that he had not dredged up some memory she kept buried. In truth, he often forgot that people had stories they did not wish to share, and that sometimes a small bit of reminiscing could open up a wave of suppressed memories. However, it did not do to dwell on speculation. He would simply have to find out if he had done something wrong, or if it was unrelated to him, and he just happened to be catching the after affects.

He lightly knocked on her door, hoping he was not too early or late. It never did to catch a friend unprepared, or to keep them waiting, and so he made it a habit to be prompt, but clocks were known to run slow, or break all together.

Who: Ciri and Go'al'enu
Where: outdoors
When: 9 am
What: moving baby trees to protect them from the cold of the winter.

Ciri threw on random clothes and her coat, hurrying out the door. She had no idea why she wanted to rush, but her worry made it necessary to save the very young trees as quickly as possible. In her haste, she forgot to put on her shoes. That wasn't important right now. Her running barefoot was quiet on the floors of the hallway and she found the exit that led to the trees by the school. The grass was cold and tickled her feet, but Ciri dashed to the place where she had agreed to meet Go'al'enu. Being friends with him was lucky and he was patient enough to teach her and answer the questions she asked. His simple actions of their previous meeting earned him complete trust from Ciri as well as her affection.

"Go'al'enu!" Ciri greeted and wrapped her arms around him for a gentle squeeze. There was no time to dwell on the hug because they had an important mission. "I will show you where the young trees are," she added in Ancient Greek, turning to the trees and started to hurry in the direction of the seeds and the sprouts. The plants were not too far away from each other, but they had landed a good distance away from the school. Ciri managed to dodge the roots of trees sticking up from the ground, running daintily.

They reached the area a few minutes later and she stopped in a small clearing, crouching besides a certain patch of grass. She spotted the couple of seeds and waved him over to investigate. "Here are the seeds," she told him and rose to her feet again. "The young trees are over there." Ciri walked over to where there were three sprouts rising from the ground, a reasonable distance from one another. "Do they have anywhere to go? Can we get a house for them? I do not know how cold the winters become here and I am worried."

Who: Go'al'enu and open (For either Q&A or post presentation mingling)
Where: The Control: Earth classroom
When: 8:00 P.M.
What: Go'al'enu begins his lecture series.

Go’al’enu was standing in front of the small crowd of students and staff, appearing to be dressed in a very lavish suit and tie. In actuality, it was his own crafting that had made the suit/tie combo, as he generally avoided wearing real clothes when he knew he would have to shift, which his presentation would require. He had a series of note cards on a podium he had fashioned from obsidian, and he tapped the cards a couple times on the black stone to gather the crowd’s attention. As they began to quiet down, he cleared his throat and began.

“Good evening fellow staff and students. It is my honor to be speaking in front of you today, about the Elemental condition, and to be able to present some of the knowledge I have amassed in my extensive travels. For those who do not know me, I am an Earth Elemental who has existed upon this planet for 3000 years, give or take. During this time I have made it my mission to gather as much information about the supernatural world as I possibly could, and have in my possession a vast library of myth, fact, and personal experiences with creatures of all types of abilities.

Who: Go'al'enu and Georgetta
Where: The grounds
When: After the sun sets
What: Go'al'enu tries to comfort a homesick vampire.

It was a pleasant night, not that temperature really affected the Earth Elemental. But still, he enjoyed the cool temperature, and he let his skin rest at a natural human texture to enjoy it. He stood outside the main doors of the school, waiting for Georgetta to arrive. Being a patient person he was in no hurry, and he stared out into the sky, thinking about all those stars out there.

It was funny, he thought, that he was made of the contents of those luminous orbs, all burning away and creating the elements that defined everyone. He had always wondered the extent that his power could grow, if eventually he would be able to control lava, or mercury. Still he did not let himself worry, there was nothing but time for him. Even if the water dried and the wind stopped blowing he would be around. He was about to go down another vein of thought when he heard the door opening, and so he turned in greeting, a large smile on his face.

"Georgetta, how are you on this lovely evening?"

Who: Go'Al'Enu, Shawn, and Leo
Where: Go'Al'Enu's office.
When: Five, during Go'Al'Enu's office hours.
What: The Sponsor Meets the Student.

Though he understood the necessity of holding office hours, it always felt far too constraining to be cooped up in his office, waiting for students to come to him. But that was the way things were done now, and so how he would do things. In the meantime he entertained himself by practicing his control on the furniture of the room, all of which was made of various stones. The desk was marble, his own chair was obsidian, and the two chairs for visitors were clay, with cushions upon them for the comfort of his non-earth elemental guests.

Presently, he sat upon his desk, and on the half he was not occupying, he had created a small farmhouse, within which two tiny marble people were going through the motions of preparing a dinner and then serving it to themselves and two little marble children.

It was at motion from the corner of his eye that he looked up and noticed he had visitors. He waved his hand and let the marble mold itself back into one solid lump, and then turned, remaining on the desk but facing his visitors., a large smile on his face.

"Please, come in, come in, as you can see I am not busy at all. Take a seat, make yourself comfortable."

Sunday 9/23/07

Who: Go'al'enu & Adora
When: Sunday Afternoon
Where: Go'al'enu's apartment
What: These two catch up and talk about old times!

After a thoroughly irritating conversation with that student, Ava, Adora had just about hit her limit of what she could handle today. First, she had to sit there and try not to think about the fact that she was very aware that Blake and Hope were off having some sort of a "friend excursion" when she knew very well that she and Blake were supposed to be having a date tomorrow night. Then, that little brat had the balls to rub it in Adora's face practically. Good lord she hated students. Hated them with a passion!

Now seemed like as good a time as ever to go... find something to do. Just as she thought she would, Adora briefly considered seeing Ric and then realized she just didn't really feel like it. He was a fun lay, yes, but she wasn't exactly in the mood to have someone mess with her brain again. She was having a hard enough time trying to gear herself up for this date with Blake and convince herself she would not be a completely heartless bitch about it.

There was only one person at this school that she could think of that probably knew her when she was softer, kinder, and much younger. That was Go'al'enu. She'd only just realized he'd arrived, and so, after a few minutes of searching, she managed to find his quarters and rap on his door. Still in her jeans and white button-down shirt, she looked every bit like the same bravado-driven, flirtatious woman she always was. It had been well over a hundred years since the two of them had seen each other, though, and in that time, she probably had gone from looking like a young twenty-something to an older twenty-something. That and her hair was brown now. She used to keep it blonde much more than it was now.

The moment the door opened, Adora couldn't help but rest herself against his door frame, grinning. "Well, look who is in town, tall, dark and handsome."

Thursday: 9/27/07

Who: Go'al'enu and open
Where: Near the Pump House
When: After lunch
What: Go'al'enu practices some modified Tai'Chi.

Go'al'enu raised his hand and brought with it a tower of dirt that shot into the sky to the tips of the trees, and then with the same control he brought his hand down to bring the dirt with it, as it flattened back to its original state, not a speck of dust out of place. He then turned, and brought both hands in front of him, sending ripples outwards, but only a short distance away, containing himself in a small little circle.

He had been fascinated with the practices in the eastern world, particularly Tai'Chi for its calm movements and the emphasis on internal control. It had been a long while since he had been in a place where he could practice his particular modifications without worrying about being discovered.

He swept his arm as he turned in a circle, creating a spiral of dirt that continued up above him, and then dropped the spiral, this time letting a cloud of dust enter his circle so he could breath it in. As the dust filled his lungs he let himself turn into the dirt and collapsed himself into the ground, then bringing a pillar from beneath him, rose into the sky keeping himself perched on the top of his rising platform, but still made of the dirt he was manipulating. He grinned widely into the noon sky, and then let the pillar dissipate, falling backwards onto the ground with a loud thunk as he solidified himself into his original state of clay, deciding to feel the reverberations of his action rather than diving into the ground. And with that he lay upon the ground, looking up into the sky.

Who: Mara Cunningham and Go`al 'enu
Where: The tunnels under the girl's dormitory
When: Noon
What: Mara decides to go out of her room

Only a few things had forced Mara to come out of her room. There was no bathroom attached, which meant going out into the hall. There were a few snacks in her room but she knew that soon she would have to go out to get food soon too. The idea would not have been so terrifying if it was not for the fact that it seemed every time she went out there were people, everywhere. Loud, nameless bodies that seemed to take up all the space around them. There were just too many of them and she did not know any of them. Daddy was not here and neither was Roger and Mara did not know what to do beside to hide in her room.

All morning she had been waiting for noises to stop outside. People made noise when they waked and talked and moved outside her room. Ear pressed against the wood she listened careful to hear anyone, anyone at all. There seemed to be a remarkable silence that had com over the hallway and Mara took this as a sign that the people were gone and she could go out.

Opening her door slowly, she poked her head out. )

Who: Go'Al'Enu and Fenrir
Where: Just inside the main entrance
When: Right after the cell phone incident
What: Less than formal introductions.

While familiarizing himself with the grounds, Go'Al'Enu had seen quite the interesting exchange between a professor and a student. One might even have called it a frightening exchange, and the earth elemental had to admit, when he had seen the man turn into a werewolf he had been nearly pushed to acting, though he knew if there had truly been harm meant in the act the girl would already be shredded.

He was glad to see the altercation end without violence, and made way as the girl stormed off, deciding to wait for the irate professor within the school. There was a hurried rush of other students filing in, presumably to get away from the mad man outside, and make their way towards the dining hall, as breakfast was fast approaching.

Finally the man he wanted to speak too strode in, with labored breaths and a scowl upon his face. Sticking his hands into his pocket to clutch a small piece of iron he carried on his person, he let the feel of the metal flow through his body, turning his internal chemistry into the metal as a precaution.
It was at this time he chose to act )
