Who: Arc and Cassandra
Where: Cassandra's room as she packs
When: Afternoon
What: Cassandra bis farewell.

Tears spilled from Cassandra's eyes as she packed her bags. After four years at the school, she was being forced to leave by her parents, due to the recent incident. They couldn't stand worrying that their daughter might further be taken advantage of by such barbaric people. The whole being permanently blinded thing didn't help matters. No matter how much she had argued, they just wouldn't listen. They were coming to take her away.

She hadn't had much time. And it wasn't like she could write anything about it. She couldn't operate a computer at all. So she'd given Arcelia a call, and tried to explain the situation as best she could. Which had been hard through a new wave of tears when she realized she was being forced to leave the best friend she had ever had. She forced her clothes haphazardly into boxes and bags, trying to keep her composure, but making slow work at both. Her mother had told her someone would be by to pick up her things, but she was in too furious a rage to just leave her things lying around. She needed to distract herself somehow.

Who: Cassie, Cassandra and Arc?
What: Going to visit her friends.
Where: The wards.
When: Friday after her talk with Arc.

Cassie was sort of in shock as she read Arc's journal entry about Cassandra. Blinded? She had never wished for anything so hard in her life as she wished for Cassandra's eyesight to come back. Ok, her and 'Dra weren't amazingly close, but she wouldn't wish blindness on anyone, especially not a friend, so when she told Arc she would be there in a few, she meant it. She was in the grounds anyway, using her phone, so she started her way over to the medical area as soon as she had sent the message.

It did take her a few minutes, surprisingly for the chaos demon she had not had reason to really visit the doctor yet, so she had to actually consult maps and a couple of people before she turned up and started rummaging through the wards,

"Arc? Cassandra?"

Who: Cassandra/Arc and Sketch
Where: The Cafeteria
When: Lunch
What: The Blinding!

Cassandra was walking with Arcelia as she normally would, chatting about the fun things they would do at the festivities tomorrow night. She had the perfect costumed planned out, steering as far away from the cliche as she could go. Rather, she had spent the week designing and putting together an extremely complicated Chinese princess costume, complete with jewelry and make up. She was so excited in fact that she felt a desire to take out her latent anger about the full moons approach, still angry that she was having blind flashes from the concentrated unpredictability.

She was wondering what she could do when she saw that girl she'd been messing with over the journals, and decided to finally introduce herself face to face. After all, if you couldn't insult someone to your face, you were really nothing but a coward. And Cassandra was certainly not a coward. She grabbed Arcs hand and dragged her over, as a wicked smile formed on her face.

"It's a shame you'll be spending your night tomorrow furry. Even the staff seems to dislike you lycans, scheduling a party on the same night as your change. You might get the chance to see how some real women dress. But alas, instead you get to spend an evening with wolves and other furry beasts."

Saturday - 10/20/07

Who: Everyone who received invites
When: Saturday night, starting around 8 pm
Where: The student lounge
What: Frankie's surprise party!

When it came to planning big, elaborate things, Vinnie wasn’t so good at it. Luckily, when it came to planning and working on stuff for Frankie’s surprise party, Nate had his back. He and Nate were gonna split the cost of supplies and stuff for the shindig itself and Nate was also gonna bake the cake, which was a huge relief. Vinnie wasn’t very skilled in the cooking or baking departments so he was glad that Nate at least was. As for the rest of the food, the two guys had managed to get stuff from the kitchens, so that was another huge relief.

The invites to the surprise bash had been sent out earlier in the week and Vinnie was happy to see the responses he had been getting. It seemed like it was gonna be a good sized party after all! Hopefully, Frankie would like her surprise. He didn’t doubt she would, though. Vinnie was pretty sure his sister was gonna be ecstatic about it.

After his last class of the day, Vinnie ran out to Party City to get balloons, streamers and other decorations to put up in the student lounge. Once he got back to the school, he changed his clothes, grabbed the supplies and his iPod and headed off to the kitchens for all the food. Luckily, the kitchen staff had set everything up on a food cart for him so that all he had to do was move it over to the table. Sweet deal.

With the loaded cart on hand, Vinnie headed off to the lounge to get everything ready. The first thing he did when he got into the lounge was hook up his iPod to the sound system. He needed music to entertain him while he set everything up. Once that was done, he grabbed all the drinks and bowls and plates of chips, dips, cheeses and other finger foods and spread them across the large table in the lounge, placing Nate’s homemade cake in the middle. Next came the decorations. He hung red streamers from the ceiling to all the walls, blew up a ton of red balloons and hung up a huge sign that said ‘Happy Birthday Frankie!’ on the wall across from the door.

Once he was done with all that, he plopped on one of the sofas he had moved out of the way to create a ‘dance floor’ and let out a sigh of slight exhaustion as he waited for the guests to start arriving.

Who: Cassandra and Arc
Where: The mall!
When: Saturday Afternoon
Why: Some cheering up and shopping is done!

Cassandra was excited for the day that was to come. She'd done her best to avoid looking into the future, as she'd grown more and more used to doing for Arc, but she'd peeked a little and knew it was going to be a wonderful day. Also she was getting a snake! She walked up to Arc's door and knocked a couple of times impatiently, tapping her foot.

She played with the hem of the purple miniskirt she was choosing to wear, a compliment to the blue tank top and white V neck sweater she wore to compliment the color. She also had on a pair of blue heels, and some black stockings to complete the look. She needed maximum changability for the shopping they were about to do.

Finally Arc opened the door and Cassandra barely blurted out a hello before grabbing her hand and pulling her along as she hurried the pair towards the cab waiting outside for them. "I'd go through all the formalities, but time is money and I'm impatient. You look great by the way, how are you?"

Where : Student Areas.

After leaving a present on her bed for the absent Zevira, Cassie ran out of her room and skidded down the hallway, wearing black shorts pajamas and grey thigh high socks. She was giggling as she peeked in the bag of michief making goodies over her arm and then ran down to her best friend's room. She really thought Arc needed to have some fun, infact she thought there were a lot of people around here that needed to lighten up, so that was her plan for tonight. The little chaos demon knocked on Arc's door.

"Open up sex bomb!" She called out, grinning all the while.

Monday 15/10/07

Who: Maeve and Cassandra
Where: Maeve's Office
What: Maeve talking to her about journal use.
When: Monday after classes.

Maeve was not sure how this meeting was going to go. There were so many unexpected issues with being the sponsor to a seer. Well.... unexpected and unseen to her anyway. Cassandra made it abundantly clear she knew everything going on, which would be the problem. She just hoped maybe she could talk some sense into the girl and this could go fine, because she really did not like having to play the stern teacher, and apart from her habit of oversharing she really didn't have too much of a problem with Cass. So Maeve really, really hoped she would pay at least a little attention to what she said. Of course she probably already knew what was going to be said, well... to an extent. Oh this was complicated.

Serious, professional and mature. That was probably how Maeve was meant to be looking when Cass walked through the door that was only pushed to. Instead she was sat with her shoes off, her legs tucked up, one underneath her and one bent up to her chest , and her chin resting on her hand, which in turn rested on her leg. She was still pondering the situation when she heard the door open and she looked up.

"Could you shut the door please? Make yourself comfortable." She asked with a smile and a friendly manner.

Who: Arcelia and Cassandra
Where: Cassandra's room
When: 7 pm
What: Fashion fun.
Rating: Shield your eyes!

Given the amount of bags Arcelia had, someone might think she was about to leave for a week-long holiday. No, in fact, she was only going for a couple of hours, but for an informal fashion show. This was enough to make her incredibly enthusiastic. She brought a bag of makeup and nail polish, as well as a small rolling case filled with clothes she made herself. Jeffrey was happy enough to look after Caitlin and said that he was going to read to her about several plants he found interesting. Arc did not know what the point was when the baby could not understand what he was saying.

Oh well. She walked down the hallways and found Cassandra's door before long, knocking on it. Only two minutes late - the more excited she was about something, the less late she was. Two minutes was almost a record. Tonight was all about fashion, so she thought she should wear a fun red-pink dress for the occasion, with black flats. She shifted the bag of makeup to her other hand and smirked when the door opened to reveal Cassandra on the other side. "Hi, Dra," she said and stepped into the room. A little unintentional joke to start things off, not bad. "I have shitloads of things for you to try on. Hope you don't mind."

She dumped the makeup bag on the bed and gestured to the rolly bag. "This has clothing I've made over the years. Most of it is pretty good if I say so myself. If you think some of it's shit, tell me how I can change it. I have to refine my style." Truthfully, she didn't know what to expect from this evening, but at least she'd get some constructive criticism out of it. A slight tingle of lust started to form in the pit of her stomach as she looked at Cassandra and was surprised at the suddenness of it. Right, maybe not that surprised, because the other woman was beautiful and she felt a little inferior in comparision. Still somewhat heavy in the stomach area after having a baby did not help matters.

Saturday 10/6/7

Who: Cassandra and Xander
Where: Club
When: Saturday Night

It was, perhaps, one of the few times that the Incubus actually had even the slightest nerves when it came to going out on a date. He had been alone with all sorts of creatures in the past few years. The only ones who came close were telepaths, however, in that they knew what he was thinking. But, even with them he could shield his thoughts a little, or just bring up so many dirty thoughts they stayed out. But, a seer was something all together different. The only other one he had been around, amusingly enough also named Cassandra, the only time they were ‘alone’ was in her dreams. Plus, that one’s powers weren’t active. This seer… would know everything he was going to do before he did it. And for someone who liked to keep people guessing… that was a disturbing thought.

But he had enjoyed the night before quite well. Even if he didn’t get everything he wanted at the time, he was more than willing to make some exceptions. Plus, it helped him get through most of the day without too much hassle. Of course, the musical notes that were now popping into his head, that only helped to compound the matter. Why did he always get a song stuck in his head when he had other things on his mind? His mother would just laugh at him, though she was usually right with her advice and her accusations. The life of a professional musician, and he had chosen it, so he had to deal with the side effects.

For the evening, he had chosen a silver black jacket that fit easily to his frame. It had clearly been tailored to hang perfectly off his shoulders. His pants, as well, were black and tailored quite nicely to fit him. A white button up shirt was under the both of them, though he seemed to have left the tie that would have completed it back in his room. Or, perhaps it was in his pocket, one never could tell. And he waited patiently in the front of the school, as he leaned against the door to his pickup. Which, unlike the rest of him, was old, battered, and while clean, had clearly seen better days. For a man with obvious money, it certainly stood out as out of the norm for him.

Who: Arc, Cassie, Xander, and OPEN to everyone!
Where: the cafeteria
When: lunch
What: concert time!

Arcelia applied the last of her mascara and turned to look at Caitlin in Jeffrey's arms. He was playing with her, making faces like raising his eyebrows for her to copy. It was cute and Arc only touched his shoulder to let him know she was going. "Where are you going wearing something like that?" Jeffrey asked skeptically. "It can't really be a lunch time concert. Do you have another date with that guy?"

"No, it is an impromptu concert," answered Arc and wished he wouldn't be so paranoid. "It'll only be an hour or two." She bent to kiss her daughter on the forehead. "Cait, keep an eye on him. Bye, BG." She exited her room to head to the cafeteria, making a stop at the music room. She borrowed all the instruments that could fit in her large tote bag and then she had to make a pit stop at the toilet.

Not many people were in the cafeteria yet, but that was expected. Arc saw Xander and smiled. She'd set things up with him for his performance and maybe move the tables to give the players better accoustics. And then they would wait for lunch and people to enter the cafeteria. "Hey," she said to Xander after she walked over to him. "Ready to get his concert started?" She made a point of shifting her weight to one leg just so, standing straight so he received the full effect of her yellow top. It wasn't a fun time if she was not wearing the appropriate slightly skanky clothing. Add black fishnets, yellow flats and several bracelets and she felt ready to out-party everyone. Honestly, the weight she gained during the pregnancy wasn't too noticeable and made the top even more snug. Looking around the room, she tried to picture how the tables and chairs might go. Horseshoe shape probably would work.

Monday: 10/1/07

Who: Cassandra and Professor Hilton
Where: Maeve's office
When: 4:30
What: A meeting between student and adviser

Cassandra knew this wasn't going to be anything to worry about. The two would exchange words and discuss classes and there was nothing to be gained from worrying about it. Oh, of course there were always unpredictable things that could happen. Even as a seer she wasn't infallible. Especially one who saw possibility. She had to keep herself in check to make sure she didn't see a werewolf bursting through into the office and slaughtering everyone or aliens invading. They were technically possibilities, and in a different dimension they might even be happening. Which was one of her main problems, was that those dimensions slipped through if she wasn't careful.

She thought that might be why she couldn't see further than a week or two into the future, but it wasn't something to think about now, she had to be on her best behavior. Or that is to say, she had to make sure that the possible her that was a slut or a raging ball of anger didn't slip through. It was so hard living with all of those possibilities, and she really didn't know which one was truly her. Maybe there wasn't one. Either way, she stepped into the professors office with a huge grin on her face, smoothing the sweater she wore to appear casual.

"Hello professor, I know you've been expecting me."

Wednesday 9/19/07

Who: Nell and OPEN
What: Nell's been looking for a piano, and guess what, she found one
Where: The music room.
When: Wednesday after dinner

Back in school, Nell was pretty sure that they had already tried this route. Still it was better than whatever sort of punishment an Angel could think up. At least this place had a smallish city. But homesickness was already starting to sink in. While she was not exactly in love with the tiny apartment they had had, she had paid with it out of her own pocket. The money might not have always been gotten legally but Nell always made sure ends were met. She was even starting to miss her job at the diner and the ridiculous little uniform.

No one seemed to really be in the building. Though Nell was sure there were people somewhere, because the doors had been locked. Not that locked doors would have stopped her, she wanted piano and she was going to find one. All she had to do was track down the music room, should not be too hard. Walking down the hall way she glanced at different classroom names before she finally found the one she was looking for. Music room.

Opening the door, she shut it quietly. All music rooms had pianos, it was a law or something. And there it was, tucked away in the corner against the wall. She really should have invested in a keyboard of some type but there had already been enough to transport anyway. Sitting down on the bench, she flipped up the key cover and ran her fingers lightly over the keys. She smiled for a moment as she looked over it, deciding what she wanted to play.

And then she started. A long, low, sad melody that she felt comfortable with.
