Charlie was running late. She had been having a sit down with a freshman girl who was having some issues adjusting to dormitory life and that had put her behind for the time she was to meet with Wesley at the infirmary to do a check up on the baby, finally. But her hunger could not be ignored when she left her office. And she had just enough time to swing by and pick up a quick bite to eat from the cafeteria before booking it across campus to the infirmary to meet with Wesley.

Healthy or not, Charlie had ended up with a brownie in hand instead of actual food which she was nibbling on on her way to the infirmary. She felt.. something, a momentary dizziness perhaps, just as she walked into the infirmary, but it passed just as quickly as it had came and she brushed it off as being pregnancy related as she strode down the hallway to knock on the door to Wesley's office where she knew she would find him waiting. She had just popped the last bite of her brownie in her mouth before knocking and peeking her head around the corner of his door, greeting him brightly, "Hello, Wesley!".

What happened when she saw him was... strange, to say the least. Charlie had been around Wesley dozens of times since their affair had ended and nothing out of the way had ever happened. It had never even felt odd. But in that moment, something struck inside of her and she was overwhelmed by how incredibly handsome he was, moved by the way his smile crinkled the skin at the corners of his eyes and by the way that his lips turned up into that smile that made her feel weak in the knees. And she knew, she just knew, in that moment that she was completely and totally in love with him.

This stunned her into silence, the color leaving her face followed by an almost immediate flush. She felt like she might faint from this revelation which made her a bit unsteady on her feet.
