Sunday: May/10/09 - AIM: Frankie/Kim

Who: Frankie and Lyle
When: Sunday evening
Where: his place
What: a visit

Frankie hadn't talked to Lyle much lately, and it was completely on purpose. He was really good at reading her, and since he still hadn't broken the news about the baby to her family, she was afraid of Lyle finding out and blabbing. He was Vinnie's friend. He might be required to share that kind of information as part of the bro code or something.

But she missed Lyle, and so against her better judgment, she headed over to his place after dinner. She brought a bag of Oreos with her. He probably wouldn't eat them, what with the dead taste buds, but she'd wolf down a whole bag easily. She knocked lightly on the door, hoping she wasn't interrupting any sort of 'alone' time with his man.

Wednesday: May/6/09

Who: Frankie and Xander
When: Wednesday early evening, before dusk
Where: out on the grounds
What: she bumps into a very different Xander

Frankie still hadn't told anyone other than Kim or Grey about the baby. She'd begged Grey to keep it to himself for the time being, and Kim was under strict orders to not tell Starbuck. Frankie had to get used to it all herself. She needed to feel good about it before her family made her feel like shit.

The fact that Grey was happy and ready to be a dad made things a lot better. She knew most people in her life wouldn't accept him, but she thought he'd be a good father. He was good to her, and he'd love the baby. He had money, so he could support their child as well. It was going to work out. Some how.

But she still had moments of panic. Tonight was one of those moments. She started to feel overcome by anxiety in her room, so she quickly threw on her workout clothes and headed out for a run. She wanted to escape all the shit in her head for a bit.

Saturday: May/2/09

Who: Frankie and Grey
When: Saturday afternoon
Where: Frankie's room
What: Frankie has to share the terrifying news.

Frankie was FREAKING OUT! Kim had come over the night before with the pregnancy test, and, as Frankie feared, it was positive. There was a lot of crying after that. Kim, being the most amazing friend ever, stayed the night with Frankie, but she had a family to get back to in the morning. She'd invited Frankie to come along, but the sprite needed to be alone for a bit and think. With the news now confirmed, she knew she had to tell Grey. He needed to know before anyone else, because it was the right thing to do. Her thoughts kept going back to Starbuck and how he'd not known he was a dad. Frankie wouldn't do that to Grey. He deserved to know about his kid and make a choice as to how much he'd be involved in his child's life.

So she texted him, after more freaking out, and when he said he was on his way, she went into total panic mode. How the hell did you tell a guy he'd knocked you up? Part of Frankie was excited, because she'd always wanted to be a mom, but she didn't want it to happen like this. She wanted to be in love with the dad. Marriage wasn't absolutely necessary, but love was. Plus, Grey was a demon. A DEMON! She'd have to stop going to Mass immediately. That had actually been her first clue, because she'd felt ill whenever she tried to go into the Church.

A lot of changes would be necessary. But first, she had to tell Grey.

Sunday: April/19/09

Who: Frankie and Grey
When: late Sunday night
Where: her room
What: probably smexin', because the fire sprite is in HEAT!

Brother not speaking to her. Check. People calling her a slut to her face. Check. Guy she ACTUALLY likes not willing to give her a chance. Check. It all added up to Frankie needing to get blitzed. And boy, could the sprite put it away. She was wasted. Of course, the problem with being a creature of fire was that alcohol just made her heat up and burn it off super fast. That meant she was able to sober up quickly if she didn't continue to add fuel to the fire. So she'd not stopped drinking.

There were three empty bottles on the floor. Tequila. Vodka. Wine. Not in that order. She'd drained them all. Though, to be fair, they weren't all full when she got started in the late afternoon. But she'd still consumed enough alcohol to put a grown man, twice her size, in the hospital. Frankie couldn't really walk. She was spread out on her bed, her head at the foot of it, newly blond locks dangling over the edge. Frankie's feet were actually in the air, because she was rather, um, busy.

No doubt the buzz could be heard in the hallway, but she didn't care. The door was unlocked, because she was waiting for a sexy and generous man to come see her.

Tuesday: April/14/09

Who: Frankie and Grey
When: Tuesday, a little after 4pm
Where: starting in her room and heading outside
What: Grey apparently has a surprise for Frankie
Note: and they'll be getting slutty again

Once her flying class let out, Frankie headed straight back to her room. She hadn't been all that social since everything happened with Ari, because she really couldn't handle the judgmental looks she got from a lot of the girls at school, or the guys glancing at her with eyes that screamed exactly what they were thinking.. would she put out so easily for them as well? She was sick of it. She was also irritated that her brother still wasn't exactly speaking to her. She knew he was angry, but he had to let it go. She wasn't going to fuck Ari again. Ever.

Reaching her door, Frankie paused upon seeing an envelope taped to it. She peeled it off and quickly looked inside after glancing around to see if whoever placed it there might still be lingering. Knowing her luck, it was some nasty note telling her what a slut she was. Well, almost. It was from Grey. He wanted her to meet him outside.

Frankie considered changing quickly into something a little more appealing than her workout clothes, but she was tired and Grey was going to be seeing her more often, so he may as well get used to the idea that she didn't always look like a sex kitten. She pocketed the letter and envelope and headed down the hall.

It was cold out, again, and Frankie shivered as the wind whipped her hair around. She zipped up her hoodie more fully and shoved her hands into her pockets. Why the hell was Grey asking her to meet him outside.

Sunday: April/12/09

Who: Frankie and Grey
When: Sunday after 1am
Where: the den where Frankie works
What: reunited!
Rating: definitely NSFW

Frankie was having a rough week. One very bad decision, and now she had Ari's bitch girlfriend calling her out. Okay, so Frankie was a bit of a hypocrite. Maybe she was a slut too. But there was nothing illegal about what she'd done! Age of consent in Massachusetts was sixteen (yes, she'd looked it up.. after fucking Ari.. oops!). Plus, Frankie wasn't anywhere close to thirty! And she'd paid attention to the comments on the journal entry. Sounded like Cassidy was fucking an even older dude, so how dare she judge Frankie for cradle robbing!

Her escape came in the form of work. She needed to get away from all the judging glances and whispers for a few hours. Frankie was relieved when she arrived at the den and was treated the same as always. She was just a hot piece of ass who served drinks and had her wings ogled. She would rather deal with a few slaps on her ass than have some gossipy bitches at school look down their noses at her. And she definitely didn't want to see her brother or Lyle right now. Ugh. This all reminded her so much of her first time with Grey.. when NUMEROUS classmates witnessed her being deflowered in a club. Frankie sure knew how to feed the gossip monster.

Who: Frankie and Ari
What: What indeed...
Where: Frankie's room
When: Friday afternoon
Rating: Probably NSFW

With a bottle of cheap vodka in his hand and a zipped up hoodie covering his chest, Ari strolled his way through the corridors to Frankie's room. He wasn't really one to hold a grudge against someone, because that would imply that he cared about them and for the most part, he didn't. And any grudge he did hold was only to make someone's life miserable for his own amusement. So even though Frankie had called him a date rapist in the past, along with various other insults, he was on his way to her room with the veiled promise of a bj. If she delivered, cool. If not, he had no problem walking out of there.

Bare feet tapping impatiently on the cool floor, Ari rapped a knuckle on the other sprite's door and waited for her to open it. The vodka was just in case Frankie actually insisted on putting on her shitty movie while she blew him, to make it somewhat tolerable.

Friday: March/27/09

Who: Frankie and Nico
When: Friday morning
Where: the greenhouse on campus
What: awkwardsauce!

Frankie loved Fridays. Her only class was track, and while it was in the morning (waaay too early), she loved running. It helped her start the day on a good note, and she often followed up with a trip to the greenhouse with a book and portable breakfast in hand. Today was just like that. After a good hour of running, she headed for her favorite spot in the greenhouse.

While water and Frankie didn't quite mix, she liked the sound it made while trickling through the little koi pond. She thought it was fantastic that Nox had built this greenhouse for his daughter. It was a magical sort of place even though it involved no actual magic at all. Nature in itself was magical. The building was warm and filled with all sorts of colors that helped her forget it was winter.

She plopped down on the bench she liked to think of as her own and pulled up her feet, opening her book at the same time to pick up where she'd left off last night. Frankie was such a sucker for cheesy romance novels. It pulled her in immediately, making her deaf and blind to the world around her.

Wednesday: March/25/09

Who: Frankie and Xander (and later Vinnie)
When: Wednesday evening
Where: outside on the school grounds
What: the fire sprite is being an idiot and walking around in the cold

Frankie had a lot on her mind. Unresolved things with Lucas, her chat with the new shrink, the argument with Lyle, and then talking to Lyle again and having that conversation turn to the subject of her birth mother. It was all so much to deal with. She wished she could escape from her thoughts for a little while. Instead, she was being suffocated by them.

Walking had seemed like a good idea, mostly because she thought the cold would be so horrible that it would distract her from the shit in her head. But it was awful out. Clearly, she'd not worn enough layers.. even though she had on five. Stupid winter. Frankie glared at the flurries flying around. What the hell was she doing out here?

Saturday: March/14/09

Who: Frankie and Lucas
When: Saturday night
Where: starting at her room and then heading out
What: a date!

Frankie was excited, despite the ups and downs she'd experienced in the love/sex/relationship department the past few weeks. She had a real date tonight. Lucas was planning it, they were going out, and there were absolutely no expectations attached. And, as much as she wanted him, she honestly did not want it to end with clothes coming off. It was supposed to be a first date! First dates didn't end with sex, or shouldn't.

Picking out what to wear was as stressful as ever when getting ready for a date. It was made all the more difficult given the cold weather. At least it wasn't snowing or raining tonight. She settled on a little black dress, because it was cute, flirty, and could really work in just about any setting. Besides, she could pair it with a thick wool coat, scarf, and tall boots to stay warm in transport. Surely Lucas wouldn't take her somewhere cold. He knew how much she hated it, and she knew that he preferred warmth as well. The thing that took the longest was switching to blond again. Frankie's hair accepted change easily, but it still took time, and after sleeping in from her late night at work, she was a little rushed. She was still doing her makeup when Lucas knocked on the door.

Frankie hurried up and applied some lipgloss as she called out, "Come in!" It was open, and she needed to finish up with another coating of mascara before they left.

Wednesday: March/11/09

Who: Frankie and Lyle
When: Wednesday night
Where: her room
What: nothing planned right now

Frankie and Lyle had one BIG thing in common. They were both excellent at putting themselves down and not accepting help from one another. That needed to change, but Frankie doubted it would. She was glad he at least agreed to come over, and now that he was speaking again, maybe she wouldn't talk so damn much. Yeah, no, that was unlikely.

Having changed into some pajama pants and a tank top, Frankie threw some popcorn into the microwave. She had the munchies, and it wasn't because of pot, though she might have a joint with Lyle if he was interested. The sound of kernels popping began to slow when Lyle knocked on the door. Frankie jogged over to answer it with a smile. "Hey, come on in.. I gotta get the popcorn before it burns," and she ran back to the microwave to get the bag out.

Thursday: March/5/09

Who: Frankie and Jay
When: Thursday night (after 8pm)
Where: Frankie's room
What: drinking and FIRE! (and some VERY naughty stuff...)

Frankie was super excited for Jay to come over. The girls were gonna get their drink on tonight! Plus, it would be nice to hang out with another fire user, even if Jay wasn't as advanced with using her power. It would be fun! Frankie always looked forward to making new friends, and she had high hopes with Jay.

After tidying up her room a bit (because she could be a real slob), Frankie got herself cleaned up and then started searching through her wine collection. She was uncorking a very nice merlot when the knock came at her door.

Friday: February/27/09

Who: Frankie and Wes
When: Friday night
Where: her room
What: A DATE! And CHRISTMAS!

Green, check. Christmas, check. Chocolate, check. Frankie had all the ingredients. Sure, it was all confined to her dorm room, but she was on a budget. A very strict budget. It was nice though. A warm winter wonderland that glittered and smelled delicious.

She'd hung the stockings with care over a cardboard cutout of a fireplace. It really was a shame it wasn't the real thing, but as far as Frankie knew, none of the dorm rooms had fireplaces, even though it would be a good idea for the fire users on campus. Still, the space heater kept the room cozy.

She'd cut out lots of paper snowflakes and hung them from the ceiling. Each one had been dipped in glitter so it shown brightly in the candlelight. Candles were essential. They made the world more magical, and wasn't that what Christmas was all about? It celebrated a miracle. It made people believe in the impossible and all that was good in the world.

Presents were important too. Anyone who celebrated Christmas who claimed that gifts weren't important was flat out lying. So Frankie had gift wrapped about a dozen boxes filled with handmade chocolates that took her several days to whip up (what? she still had classes and work to worry about !). The presents were all arranged on a small dining table in the middle of the room. And they were surrounded by more candles.

It looked like quite the romantic and festive scene. Oh, she'd also 'borrowed' some plants from the greenhouse. Holly, mistletoe, and poinsettias. They were all lovely and they brought green into the room.

But then came the most important part of all. SANTA! Every Christmas party needed a Santa, someone to bestow joy upon others. Good thing Frankie was a big fan of the holiday AND costumes. She also wasn't the least bit shy about her body, which was a good thing given this particular costume.

With everything ready, Frankie simply waited for her date to arrive! Oh, while listening to some Christmas carols.

When: Monday afternoon
Where: his place
What: special delivery!
Rating: hard sayin', just a lot of flirting right now (and apparently some smoochin' too!)

Frankie felt bad for Wes. He'd been running himself ragged for days! Poor guy really had been stretched to the limit taking care of so many sick people. He deserved a little pampering. It was the least Frankie could do after he patched her up. Hopefully, Starbuck and Belle were feeling well enough to step up so Wes could rest.

She had volunteered to bring him soup and read him a story, but fresh baked goods sounded better. Showing up at his door, the sprite knocked softly, just in case he was sleeping. On her arm was a little basket filled with a variety of cookies and cannoli.

Thursday: February/19/09

Who: Frankie and Malakai
When: Thursday night, late
Where: starting at the den where she works
What: A hellhound walks into a bar... (come up with your own punchline!)

Frankie had mixed feelings about being back at work. The place shut down during the blizzard, so it wasn't like she had been in any trouble for missing all those days. No one, not even vampires, wanted to be out in that shit. But now that life was getting back to normal, the undead were getting back to their routines as well. She got the call from her boss the night before, telling her she needed to get her butt back to work Thursday.

The best part about her job was the temperature. Because vampires weren't big fans of the cold either, the den was always delightfully warm. She relished the feeling. It was still horribly cold outside, and she wasn't looking forward to the end of her shift for that reason alone. Everything else about work pretty much sucked. Sleezy vamps kept hitting on her or trying to get her to let them feed on her. She did her best to keep everything Ava taught her in mind, pushing back when they got grabby, establishing that she was not the sort of woman they could fuck with. She even threatened them with with handfuls of flames when necessary. Most of the men found it amusing and backed off.

Tonight was especially rowdy though. It seemed the regulars were grumpy from being away for so long, and they were giving Frankie more grief than normal. Her feet ached from running like mad around in heels, trying to meet their demands. But then, without warning, her customers all got very nervous. A number of them were looking around with unmistakable fear in their eyes. Some even got up and hurried for the exit. Frankie had no idea what was going on until she saw a familiar face stroll into the den. Well then.. that was odd. A hellhound.

The sprite strolled over to him, feeling a little uncomfortable to run into someone she knew wearing her uniform, but Malakai had seen her naked, so she supposed this was considered a great deal of clothing. "You just scared away all my customers before they could tip me. Thanks a lot."

Sunday: February/15/09

Who: Frankie and Lucas
When: Sunday evening
Where: Lucas’ room
What: checking on her friend
Status: incomplete, started in gdocs, will finish in tags

Frankie’s priorities were simple once she got back to school. First, get vaccinated for whatever the fuck had made everyone so damn sick (because she didn’t care to experience what they had). Second, check in on her brother and give him lots of hugs and kisses. Third, make sure Kim, Starbuck and Kamea were alright (and spend a crazy amount of time with them, because, holy shit, insane stuff happened!). And finally, get around to keeping her promise about visiting Lucas. She’d offered up a bribe to encourage him to keep kickin’, rather than kick the bucket. Since he was alive, it was time to pay up.

She ran back to her own room to get her iPod and then scuttled off to Lucas’ room. She knocked enthusiastically on the door. “Singing and dancing telegram!” she called out. Then, remembering what else she’d promised, Frankie added, “Served at one-hundred-and-five degrees!” That was actually slightly low for her normal body temperature, but it seemed as though the vaccine had caused her to feel a little rundown. She heard of that happening with humans. Maybe the same was true for supernaturals. She really couldn’t say, because she’d never had a vaccine before in her entire life!
