Rorie had had an interesting day, to say the least. It was full of heart wrenching videos, annoying conversations, and then this mess of love. All he was wanting to do was get home and relax. He had pizza to pop in the oven and then just sit there and let himself unwind. If he could get there though. First he had to go to his office and see Mara. Apparently something was up and from everything he'd seen today proved that magic had gone whacky again and now everyone was loving everyone. Which he suspected was Mara's problem that she had to talk to him about.

Going to his office, he stepped in and there she was, right on time, sitting there and waiting for him. It felt like a death walk almost. "Hey, Mara," he said coming in and giving her a small smile and wave. "So, what's up?" He asked as he took his seat around the desk so there was a barrier of sorts.

Mara closed her laptop and headed for the infirmary to see Wesley, to see if he could help her sleep and maybe answer some questions for her that she did not want to ask any of her parents. Wesley had treated Mara ever since she was little, she loved him like he was family because her mom had adored him and he had always been nice to both of them.

So now that Mara was grown, she saw more of why her mom adored him and couldn't seem to stop herself from flirting with him. She didn't mean much by it, she was a fifteen year old girl, turning sixteen next month she was just pushing her limits...and pushing them as hard as she possibly could.

She stopped outside the infirmary, flicked her hair off her shoulders and smoothed her short skirt before opening the door and walked in, smiling wide at Wesley. "Hi uncle Wes." Mara said in a sing song voice before walking over and giving him a hug.

So far, this place sucked. But Jack and Taylor had raided the vending machines so at least she had a huge stockpile of twizzlers. Chewing on one as she made her way to the front door, Jack's boots clomped hard on the stone floors, echoing her boredom with this entire place. These people were weird, and some of them were downright creepy. But some of them were really cool looking too, and that was probably enough to stick around. Not that she had a choice in the matter.

But this chick that was taking her to somewhere interesting, and maybe it could come in handy in the future. A hideout, if she and Taylor needed to get out of here. And maybe the attention hungry spaz might actually be cool outside of the internet. Sitting on the front step, Jack waited for whoever it was to show up, twisting the ends of her hair.

What: Mara decides to go out of her room


Only a few things had forced Mara to come out of her room. There was no bathroom attached, which meant going out into the hall. There were a few snacks in her room but she knew that soon she would have to go out to get food soon too. The idea would not have been so terrifying if it was not for the fact that it seemed every time she went out there were people, everywhere. Loud, nameless bodies that seemed to take up all the space around them. There were just too many of them and she did not know any of them. Daddy was not here and neither was Roger and Mara did not know what to do beside to hide in her room.

All morning she had been waiting for noises to stop outside. People made noise when they waked and talked and moved outside her room. Ear pressed against the wood she listened careful to hear anyone, anyone at all. There seemed to be a remarkable silence that had com over the hallway and Mara took this as a sign that the people were gone and she could go out.

( Opening her door slowly, she poked her head out. )
