The Tiberius J. Swann Education Facility

Mac had been up only for about a half hour. A bottle of water and an apple for breakfast, she'd taken Sid for a walk in the dark morning air that had begun to acquire a slight chill to it. A pair of vintage looking track shorts, something right out of the 70s, a gray hoodie, varsity socks pulled up to her knees and sneakers, Mac made her way out to the usual meeting spot for Track, her first of four today. After this she had dance, blades, and swimming. A full plate was an understatement when it came to Mac and the work load she'd taken on. A need to dive back into some sort of routine and sense of ritual and normalcy had been the source of her choices in taking on so much and fortunately, it'd kept her from feeling too out of place or lonely without much time to herself after her weekend job and homework were added onto the list of responsibilities.

Stretching along with the rest of the group, she glanced up, spotting an approaching shadow and caught sight of Vinnie. She'd already learned everyone's names though she barely spoke in class unless it was to answer questions or ask them. Feeling a little more confidant with him after their one time online exchange of comments, she'd offer a polite smile and quiet, "Hey." As he passed, returning to stretching out her legs before she straightened up and began stretching her arms and back for the run they were all about to take.

Who: Starbuck and Mac (with Kamea there as well)
When: Wednesday, early evening
Where: starting on the school grounds
What: introductions!

After walking the dogs, Starbuck took them back into the apartment to wait for their 'mommy' to return, then he got Kamea ready for a trip to the supermarket. Thankfully, it wasn't too cold out, so she didn't have to bundle up to the extreme. Starbuck liked the cooler weather, so he was clad in jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt as usual. Kamea looked adorable in a mint green hoodie and jeans of her own. She was fussing with the strings of the hood as Starbuck carried her out to the car.

Because it was a nice evening, they took their time with the stroll. The leaves hadn't really started to change yet, but the smell of Autumn was in the air. Kamea spotted a rabbit darting from one patch of bushes to another and bounced excitedly in Starbuck's arms yelling "Bunny!" He set her down so she could attempt to chase it. "Go get him!" And off she ran, stumbling a few times, but getting up quickly to continue her hunt. Sadly, the bunny got away, leaving Kamea to snoop around the edges of the bushes calling for the furry thing to come out and play. Starbuck stood back and chuckled.

That's when he heard someone else approaching. Starbuck glanced back over his shoulder and noticed a dark haired woman. It took Starbuck a moment to recognize her from class. Damn, started with an M, right? The class roster said Maria, but that wasn't what she preferred. After a few seconds it came to him. "Hey, Mac."
