Charlie was still angry with Ava, and he figured he might always be, but his rage had been quenched for the time being by killing her sire. Saul was primarily to blame for what happened to Maggie. Charlie knew that. But that didn't make it any easier to cope with the fact that she'd been turned against her will by Ava. Logic couldn't heal the hurt he felt. It also couldn't ease the pain now felt by the twins and his niece now that their bloodline had been severed.

Maggie wasn't in as much pain as Ava and Ana, but she did suffer, and she was growing more upset as the reality of her new lot in life settled in. After talking with Ava, he packed up some things for himself and Maggie, along with Cassius and Edelweiss, and the group headed over to Ava's campus apartment for a sleep over.

"You're not gonna fight more, are you?" Maggie asked as she dragged her feet. She felt somewhat weak.

"I can't promise that, Maggie."

"Can you try," she pleaded as she hugged Edelweiss' furry body to her chest.

Charlie nodded. "I can try. We're going over there because it will make you all feel better. I don't want them suffering any more than I want you suffering.. angry or not."

Maggie was quiet then, and she let Charlie knock on the door lightly when they arrived. Ava said the door would be open, so he turned the knob a second later and let Cassius run inside. The dog seemed to know that he was expected to be calm and quickly find a place to settle, so he did. He got comfortable on a rug under the dining table. Maggie didn't let go of Edelweiss. Now that the cat wasn't afraid of her anymore, she carried the furball around as a security blanket of sorts. "Go find Ava," Charlie told Maggie as he leaned in to kiss the top of her head and send her on his way. When she was off, he went to see Ana.

He found her in the spare room curled up in bed. "Hey," Charlie said softly as he sat on the edge of the bed and put his hand on her gently.

Ava was still adjusting to being so damn emotional, apparently from other people's feelings. It was almost as annoying as the ever-changing hair and eye colors had been, so it wasn't so surprising when she agreed to meet Charlie so easily. It would be a nice change from being subjected to the emotions of the people in this school... at least that was her excuse. It was possible she just wanted to see him, although she was nervous about having to be so near and aware of his emotions.

Still out of sight, she adjusted her outfit, took a deep breath, and walked out, towards where she anticipated Charlie and his bike to be. Running her fingers through her hair as she walked, Ava may have been trying to project a sexy persona as a cover for being nervous. "Enjoying the sun?" She asked with a laugh as she reached him.

Nox and Ana had actually passed out a few times over the course of twenty-four hours. Given they couldn't seem to stop having sex, not even for Nox to eat, it was surprising he hadn't fallen into some sort of coma! He'd gotten several drinks of water at least, just to stay hydrated, because Ana had fed on him a few times. But other than that, they stopped for next to nothing.

He'd lost count of just how many times they'd each climaxed, of which surfaces of her apartment they'd utilized, of the hour and date. It was all a blur. Nox could barely remember his own name right about now. All he could think about was Ana. She was not only the center of his universe, she was the universe. All of it.

Somehow they'd ended up on the kitchen floor. Had they come to get food? Maybe. Whip cream? Sounded more likely. Anything to keep this going. "I'm never leaving this apartment," he whispered in her ear as he thrust into her for what was surely the ten millionth time. His pace was slow and somewhat weak, because he was running on fumes at this point. The fatigue made it harder to process the world around him, so he'd not even heard the knock at the door or the latch releasing a few seconds later.

Where: Ana's apartment.
When: Thursday afternoon after her tunnel mistake.

Coming up out of the tunnels and out into the sun, Ava ignored the funny looks she was getting, whether for the hair and eye color changes or the bruises now blooming around her neck. It was a plan gone very wrong. So what? It happened, she'd heal, it wasn't a big deal she told herself. She was probably well overdue for it.

For some reason though she really wanted Ana right now, not that she was shaken or anything, oh no, of course not, so she found herself wandering back to the staff apartments and over a couple of doors to her twin's place. Two short knocks and she waited, running her fingers through her hair and pulling a face at the mousy brown it was momentarily. She really needed to learn to control this thing...

Who: Ava and Remington
When: Wednesday, late afternoon
Where: out on the grounds
What: Remington is trying to maintain order on campus and bumps into a distressed little pixie.

Everyone was going crazy. Remington technically wasn't on duty right now, and usually would be monitoring cameras even if he was, but some outbreak of chaos causing magic meant it was all hands on deck at TJS. So Remington was doing rounds. And while his limp was finally starting to fade, he still had some of it, and after walking around so much, he was feeling the pain.

He'd already ran into a few panic stricken students, who he advised to return to their rooms and lock their doors until they felt safe again. Thankfully, the new vampires seemed to realize what had happened before walking out into the sun, so no one had been killed yet. He feared that could still be the case though, so he kept glancing back at doors whenever he passed one.

Then something caught his eye. Rapidly changing hair color ahead of him. That was.. odd. And it probably had something to do with whatever spell was at work on campus. Remington went over to investigate. "You too?" he asked, looking up at her hair, but then he noticed her eyes were changing as well.

It had been a good while since Godric had gone to a den for its simple intended purpose. Last time there had been ulterior motive behind it, unsettled anger and jealousy and a fair amount of emotion that he couldn't handle without lashing out at someone. Tonight, though, he just... wanted to. It had been that simple. Having taken his potion for a second time that day, Godric had just decided that he didn't want to do bagged blood that evening. He had even debated taking Blake, but eventually ruled it out. Try as they might, non-vampires didn't really understand or appreciate the need for a den, and Blake was a jealous sort anyway and he wouldn't much care for the intimate nature of the acts going on there. Plus, it had been a while since Godric had spent any time with Ava, and even though sex was sadly off the table now, he still appreciated her sultry companionship.

Godric was well dressed, but not overly done. Just enough to make an impression, and to coincide with his companion for the evening, whom he was certain looked absolutely perfect. Ava would never leave the house without looking ravishing, and she certainly wouldn't set foot in a den unless she looked as though she owned it. And she definitely didn't disappoint. "Mmm." He gave her a soft purr as his eyes took in the sight before him, and offered an arm. "Looking quite mediocre as always," he teased.

Everything was a lot more put together and rational today than it was when Ava barged in on Charlie and started this whole fiasco about his need to be a knight in shining armor. Today she was dressed, ready for her class later infact, and a lot calmer and in control, instead of in a robe and shouting. Walking down to where he held his new class, Ava waited for the last of his students to leave and walked over to him. “Good class?” She asked politely, with a small smile.

When Cassie told her what Charlie had planned, or at least what it sounded like, Ava buried her head in the bed and screamed from frustration. Damn hero complex of his! It was going to get him killed one day, maybe in the not too distant future from the sound of it! The more she thought about it, the more angry she got.

At first she was just going to IM him, but then he’d probably just log off or ignore her, and that would piss her off more, so wrapping herself in a robe, not even thinking about whether she should put something more on, Ava marched up to his apartment and banged on his door.

Ava had just headed for the stairs to go back to her own apartment when she realised that not only had she left her robe, bra and stockings in Charlie's apartment, but that meant her keys to her on-campus apartment were in there too. Dammit! There was no way that she was going to go back to him to ask for them back, but she couldn't traipse across campus either to try and get a spare because she was only wearing his shirt and a pair of panties, and she had no phone to call anyone to help her! Could this morning get any worse? She was going to have to knock on someone's door and hope they could help out.

Ana was her first thought, but she had no idea which apartment her twin would be in, her own or Adam's, and besides, she was probably asleep, like any sensible vampire should be instead of locked out of their apartment in a foul mood and minimal clothing. Ava would just have to try someone else, so she knocked on a random door, then crossed her arms, waiting for an answer.

It makes perfect sense Ava thought as she sat in her staff apartment staring at the piano that initially drove her out and to Ric's house. Everything that was going on, all the awkwardness people felt, and the tension, it was all about sex, so maybe the solution was to fight fire with fire, or in this case sex with sex.

When the responsible feeding class finished Ava wasn't quite sure where she was going. She had told Blake that she wasn't going to move out of the house, and she had no intentions of doing so, at least not permanently, but things were awkward there, and Ava wasn't really sure she wanted to return there tonight, even though she had only been back one night after spending Monday night on campus too. Then there was the on campus apartment, which made her feel awkward because of the piano that she and Charlie had restored together, and which was a constant reminder of everything that had gone wrong there. So what was she to do but put it off? Calling a taxi she went into the city, to a den, and she fed, drank alcohol, found herself another doll obviously on something, and fed some more, until she felt like she could take on the piano and it's judging her, or at least that was what she told the poor taxi driver who took her back to the school. The man earned every cent of his fare and the accompanying tip.

Now Ava had a plan. She was going to seduce Charlie, and get him to sleep with her, and that would clear the air and allow them to get on with things. She was sure of it. Wrapped in only a robe, matching emerald bra, panties and garter belt, with stockings and heels, she left her own apartment and headed to Charlie's. A knock on the door and she waited for him to open it before kissing him soundly, without a word.

This whole day had been a bit of a rollercoaster. First fighting with Charlie on the phone, then Maggie turning up, and all of that going from feeling really good to feeling like the worst person in the planet, and ending with Charlie being... somewhat nice to her. It was exhausting, and she really needed to de-stress.

First Ava needed to return these keys to Starbuck though. It said a lot about him that he still lent her his car, even when she had been an awful friend during and after the virus, and she made a little promise to herself to get him and his family something as an apology. Now all she had to offer was a thank you though, so she'd go with that. It didn't take the vampire all that long to walk from the car to the family apartments, and she knocked on his door softly, not wanting to wake up Kamea if she was already asleep.

What: Maggie returns as a 15-year-old!

Maggie knew she should have called her uncle when she arrived at the airport in Boston, but he was going to be sooooo mad at her! She not only stole a credit card from her parents, bought a plane ticket, and flew all the way across the country on her own, but she had zero intention of going back! Well, unless it was to pack her stuff and get her kitty. Other than that, she was determined to stay put on the east coast. She wanted to go back to TJS! That’s where all her friends were, that’s where Ava was, and that’s where her uncle and aunt would get back together again and stop being so stupid! They only broke up because of her and her parents’ insistence that she get a proper education for a ‘little’ girl. Well, she wasn’t little anymore! She was fifteen and ready to be around other supernatural teenagers. The school she’d been attending in San Francisco was for young kids only. So they’d have to move her. Actually, just about all the of the students at that school would have to transfer because of the virus.

Long story short, she was afraid to call her uncle. So Maggie called her Aunt Ava instead. Ava was always cool about stuff like this. And she had to miss Maggie, right? Maggie hoped so. They didn’t talk anymore. It felt like Ava had broken up with their whole family. Maybe she didn’t want to see Maggie.

But when the young blond called, she was greeted warmly. Ava even promised not to tell Charlie anything until it was okay with Maggie. That was really cool of her. So Maggie waited, as instructed, at one of the airport restaurants. And while she waited, she thought of how to get Charlie and Ava back together again.

What: Ava bumps into Frankie at her new place of employment!

The weather was simply God-awful. Frankie was struggling to get by the last few days, especially now that she had a new job that required her to leave campus. So much fucking snow, and it was cold to the point of feeling like she'd pass out every time she stepped outside. It had actually warmed up (slightly) today, but with a high of twelve degrees, she couldn't really tell a difference.

Thankfully, the den was positively cozy in terms of temperature. It was an especially good thing considering her uniform, which was beyond skimpy! Her father would have a stroke if he saw her wearing the red corset and black lace panties TO WORK! Frankie wasn't crazy about it either, at least not outside of the bedroom with someone she cared for, but the patrons seemed to love it and her wings, so she was making excellent money in tips. On the bad side of things, there were a few customers who seemed to think she was on the menu. She'd not been bitten yet, but a few fangs had gotten a bit too close. Her boss was okay with her being feisty and using a bit of fire power. And, not surprisingly, that only seemed to make the vamps more interested in her. She was a sassy little thing that could not be had, and it just made them want her more.

After delivering another round of drinks, Frankie trotted off to the changing room to check her makeup and reapply some of the red lipstick she was required to wear at all times. After mussing her hair a bit more, her heel clip clopped back out onto the floor and over a table that had just been seated in her section. Frankie very nearly stumbled as she recognized Ava. Instead, her eyes went wide for a second before forcing herself to act as though nothing was wrong and politely asking, "Can I get you someone to drink?" It was the line she was instructed to use.

From the very moment that Godric had seen Ava descending the staircase to meet him in the living room, there had been a hard knot sitting low in his stomach. He wasn't sure if it was nerves, or dread, or guilt, but it was constant and unyielding throughout the evening. It didn't stop him from enjoying his night with the lovely vampire lady, but it was always on his mind. Perhaps Nox had been right, and he was pushing himself into another messy situation that was doomed to failure. But this wasn't exactly a romantic date, so it was unlikely that things would go south as a result. Or... was it a romantic date? He had dressed somewhat casually, his blue silk shirt and dark slacks, but Ava had been absolutely stunning. Almost breathtaking, if he'd had any breath to give. There was something about her that captivated him, like a secret that he knew was inside her but still needed discovering. She had revealed so much of herself to him as of late, and the more he discovered, the more he wanted to know.

Of course, getting to know Ava had not come without a price. Much of the evening had been filled with innuendo that made Godric flustered (and that was only the stuff he actually picked up on) and seemingly innocent personal questions that made him both exasperated and embarassed. But even with Ava's smug little smirk, Godric found himself rather enjoying his evening. He didn't want the night to end, so after dinner he drove his guest out into the wilderness, refusing to tell her their destination while he wore his own little smirk. "You will see," is all he told her.
