Who: Cherry (Molly) and Roake
When: Wednesday early evening
Where: starting in Lynn Woods (about ten miles south of Danvers)
What: a rescue mission, sorta

As soon as Cherry's car ran out of gas from turning it on every so often to warm up, she knew she'd have to call someone for help. She'd considered all her options, not really liking any of them, when Roake came to mind. He was ideal because he didn't really care about her. Well, he didn't care more than the average goodhearted stranger. They were civil, but hadn't spent much time together since he'd rejected her advances. Now that she'd truly be rejected, her heart broken, she needed someone detached from the situation to help her. Friends and family would worry too much or try to coddle her, and Cherry couldn't handle that right now. She just wanted a ride back to campus, and maybe a place to crash for the night, because going back to her own apartment was an unappealing idea.

It didn't take long for Roake to arrive, and that was truly a blessing and miracle. It surprised Cherry that he'd been able to borrow Garret's abilities so quickly and use them to find her. She wondered if Roake explained himself, for if it had been a bump and run sort of thing. It really didn't matter at this point. She was cold and ready to jump into a heated car.

Grabbing her bag, phone and keys, Cherry hopped out of her SUV and into Roake's car. She looked a total wreck, and it was obvious she'd been crying a lot and was cold. It was also clear she'd not showered in two days, her brunette locks pulled into a haphazard ponytail. "Thanks," she said softly, giving Roake a weak smile.

Who: Cherry and Roake
When: Wednesday, early evening
Where: hall near the cafeteria
What: Cherry being rejected again ;)

Cherry didn't feel much like cooking tonight. Okay, so she didn't feel like cooking most nights, but she wasn't in the mood for a bowl of cereal either. The school food was pretty good, so Cherry threw on some extremely casual clothes and sneakers and headed off for the caf.

She was nearly there, trying her bright locks back into a messy ponytail as she walked, when she dropped the hair band. "Dammit," she spat, looking around for the little piece of elastic. The damn things had a habit of running away. Cherry was always losing them and buying new ones whenever she went to the pharmacy. Her eyes were busy scanning the floor, searching for the holder, when she spotted shoes approaching. "Excuse me," Cherry said softly, moving to the side, but as she looked up, she realized who it was. "Oh.. hey." She and Roake hadn't talked much since their argument at the aquarium.

Who: Cherry and Roake
When: Saturday, early afternoon
Where: Boston aquarium
What: date?

Roake really wasn't much of a conversationalist. He didn't tend to bring up topics, and his replies to Cherry's questions and general commentary were brief. But he was cute and he had a good energy about him. Cherry figured he just wasn't much for idle chatter while driving, so she turned up the volume and sang along with the radio. Thank God the convertible she'd rented had satellite radio, because Cherry hated commercials, and she was a big fan of the 80's station. She knew just about every song that played, even though she was a little bit young to know some of them. It was a good thing her voice wasn't so bad, because poor Roake had to endure it for the majority of the trip to Boston.

Arriving at the aquarium, Cherry took a moment to check her hair in the mirror. It wasn't too messy from the drive, but it needed a little attention. "Don't you just love convertibles? I'd trade in my SUV to get one, but I'd just end up regretting it when winter arrives." She hopped out of the car and pocketed her cell phone in her jeans. Once again, Cherry had kept her clothing low key for Roake's benefit. An old, black Cure tshirt with the collar ripped off, exposing the straps of a white tank top under it.

Thursday: July/24/08

Who: Cherry and Roake
When: Thursday evening
Where: his apartment
What: unpacking! (and shameless flirting on Cherry's part)

Cherry felt victorious. FINALLY she'd caught Roake off guard long enough to wiggle her way into his home. Even better? She'd managed to do so without manipulating his emotions. Although... Cherry couldn't promise she'd never resort to such measures. Roake was going to be a tough one. Getting him naked and sweaty would be a real challenge, but Cherry LOVED a challenge. The more he resisted, the more she wanted him. It was a fun game. Frustrating, but fun.

Grabbing a bottle of whiskey before rushing out her door, Cherry made quick work of her trip to Roake's apartment. Having realized that throwing herself at him wasn't likely to work, Cherry kept it simple on styling. Jeans that hung somewhat loosely on her hips, the knees ripped out and hems fraying, coupled with a plain white tank top managed to say 'I'm sexy without really trying.' At least that's what she hoped.

The empath knocked on the door to Roake's apartment, holding the bottle high as an offering he'd see the second he opened the door.

Who: Heather and Roake
When: Thursday morning
Where: out on school grounds
What: possibly awkward introductions

Karishma was in the care of a good friend, as she often was this time of the morning (and month). Just because Heather was a mother now, didn't mean she had to give up her figure or fighting. She wasn't able to run twice a day anymore, but once a day was doable. It was just a shame she didn't have Kim here to join her, though Heather's talented protege would be returning before long, and then they could get back to their regular training sessions.

Right now though, Heather had energy to burn on her own. She was jealous of Kim right before the full moon. Kim had a man. Heather needed to get one of those for herself, if only to scratch the itch she always got in the days leading up to her transformation. She only had a few hours left to burn, and she would have liked to spend them naked, but she was dressed in her running gear instead.

Heather's feet hit the grass in perfect rhythm. One after another they carried her across the school grounds. Her mind and body were both humming with excessive energy. She could feel the moon's pull. It was calling the beast within, begging it to come out and play.
