Where: out in Boston
When: evening
What: Night of distraction.
Nathaniel watched one film and while the comedy improved his mood, he grew antsy. Watching films was probably the wrong activity to be doing because he still had time to think about what had happened and the mistakes he had made. So, it was then he decided that he had to do something he didn't do very often, like go out on the town. It may have seemed somewhat creepy with two younger women towards the end of their teenage years, but that did not matter right now. They were good company, even if Ophelia was quite quiet. He knew several quiet people and she talked more with time, like his other friends. "What do you say to going out to a bar? I'm paying," he said.
Ophelia forgot that Mandy knew an older man and it was slightly unnerving at first until she started to talk to him more over the course of the movie. He was mostly serious with a dry sense of humor and the two of them had a good time talking about one of the male leads in the film. She ate candy, snuggled next to Mandy and started to feel like a normal person again, at least for now. When it came to his sudden invitation, she was all for it. "Sounds great!" she said with a small smile. She got to her feet and gathered her things, waiting for the others to do the same.
One down, one to go. Nathaniel rested his hand on her shoulder for a moment before giving her a thumbs up. "Good to have one partner in crime. This is the evening of complete hedonism," he stated, running his hand through his hair to make it stick up in certain places. If he was wild, so should his hair be as well. Yes, he had plans and he knew to which bar they should go. With luck, the mood should strike them all and they would do something else as well like... dancing around a fire in the middle of nowhere. Apparently his mind went primitive in desperate times like these.
