Who: Cassidy and Ari
When: Late Afternoon
Where: Boston
What: Vandalism
Cassidy had promised him fun and she intended to deliver on that. There was a reason why she had asked Ari to accompany her. He struck her as the type that would like what she had in mind. And today was Sunday, the one day that she knew she could go and do what she intended to do and get away with it. Her aunt and uncle were never home on Sundays. They spent basically the entire day at church or with their "church family". Ironic considering that Saturday nights were usually spent with her uncle in a drunken haze and her aunt cleaning up after his usual two-day bender. Either way, it became very clear on the cab ride into Boston that she had a very particular destination in mind though she wouldn't tell Ari much about it, and he didn't really ask. Instead their time was spent trading quips and insults, Ari talking shit about Adam or him acting like he was quite disinterested or too cool for all of this. She had learned one piece of information along the way though. Ari was a sprite, not a fairy.
The cab arrived in what looked to be like a quiet, residential neighborhood. And it was. Cassidy instructed the driver to drop them off at the end of the block since she didn't want him to be seen directly in front of the house. The neighbors would think nothing of her being around. Sure, she hadn't been for a few months now, but she had lived there for years so she wouldn't be at all out of place. And if she knew her aunt, which she did, she would be too freaked out and ashamed to call the cops or anything after they were finished with the place.
"Thanks," Cassidy had remarked after Ari took care of the cab fare, and then she was off, leading the way through the pristine streets and manicured lawns to the back of a two-story house, blue and pre-fab, where she found the spare key to the garage entrance hidden under the same rock it had always been under. She unlocked the door and headed into the dark garage, flipping on a light to illuminate the space. It still looked exactly the same. Walking over to one of the shelving units on the side that her uncle used for storage, she grabbed a couple of cans of spray paint, tossing one to Ari.
