Being on the phone when the lines cross and getting treated to "Harder Better Faster Stronger" followed by "Thong Song" was something I could have lived without.

Made for a very interesting conversation after we stopped laughing.

I don't want to work today. The desert is really hot - no shit, right? I want to go do something fun. As much as I love digging around the Valley of Fire, I am thinking water, lake, something cool, minus dirt and sand.

All work, no play - you know what I mean?

So. My therapist recommended getting a pet. I've never been into cats (sorry to anyone I might offend), so I'm thinking a dog. A rescue, perhaps, because pet stores make me uncomfortable.

Anyone with any tips? Suggestions?

And Ben? If you're not up for adding a third canine roommate, do let me know. I'll get a goldfish, instead.

Please tell me that this guy I'm time-sharing with isn't a result of some freaky ancient coin holding the spirit of a fallen angel. Because I've dealt with that once and thought I had it beat. I'd be disappointed if it snuck up on me without giving me a chance to deal with it.

Okay, somebody had better start talking. Because if this is another game from Mr. Hat and Clogs, I really am not in the mood and was kind of in the middle of, you know, something important.
