Since their last meeting, Wayne's payments (of which she gets emailed receipts) have dwindled lower and lower until finally he's missed a payment regarding her brother's debt money. That same day, a sympathy card is left in a plain white envelope with Vivienne's name written in his familiar block letters. The hand written note inside, beneath the generic 'Sorry for your loss', reads:
