God, it's good to be back.  The Roadhouse is weirdly empty though.  Also, it wasn't quite where I was expecting to show up.  At least all my guns are here, and my stuff.  Gonna get to cleaning then, and making sure everything's in order.

[Sometime in the late evening, as the nighttime lights are starting to turn on, news reports come in of a sudden fire in the Avenue Eight Studios. There are no immediate reports of a cause, but one apartment is completely destroyed, and the two around it are badly damaged enough to make them unlivable. Significant smoke damage is done to the apartments on the same floor and above it. There are a number of minor injuries, mostly smoke inhalation, as well as one fatality - the apartment's single resident, an as-yet unidentified man in his early thirties with a minor criminal record.

The police are still investigating, but are also encouraging people to come forward with any information they might have about what happened, as arson is strongly suspected.]

Can anyone recommend a safe, cheap motel? Preferably one on a bus route.
