Four glass jars, three of which hold one mechanical bug each and one is about half full of crushed beetles.  As soon as he accesses JARVIS, he'll see a blinking file folder that holds all of the compiled information she could find on the bugs (pattern, origin, news stories), as well as other main members of the Marvel-verse comics, movies, and tv shows.  There's flashcard sized icons of them that will expand with further information if he wants.  JARVIS can also answer any questions, provided that he's asking about information Pepper's put into the system.  She was quite thorough, but there is still a great deal of research to do.  *The first profiles that come up are Spider-Man, Captain America/Steve Rogers, Sif, and Superman and Batman (Both noted as DC). Those are marked Possible Allies. Thor is also noted, but she hasn't had the chance to contact him yet.

The mechanical bugs beyond the Marvel door can be stopped temporarily with a cellphone jammer to distrupt the signal they're getting. They're illegal, but not hard to make or find, they sell 'em in the subways and on ebay.
