[In her only slightly improved hand.] The cold has settled in bones. The sky is polished, violently clear. If any poor soul lacks shelter from winter's spite, I have leased a room in the inn in the village on the dead forest's edge. Though it is smallish, the room, with walls that cant together and one straw-stuffed mattress, it is clean and warm, and open to any who need it or desire it.

I am armed here with a recipe for a fire-warmed chocolate drink, extra quilts, and several beautiful texts, all of which are offered to any and all as well.

There's more cash than there had even been in each of the previous weeks. She'd been stunned by the first week, almost protesting, but she wasn't quite altruistic enough at that point. And she's been hiding it, squirrelling it away as best she can at home ever since. But the amount has gone up. And so, very reluctantly, and with no cursing at all:]
