I don't know what I expected of the post-war world. I think the would-be reformists thought that rainbows would sprout up and birds would sing, and all evil would be gone, and we would all live in perfect harmony. The reality is that there are still shops that are leveled, buildings that will never return to a previous state, even with magic, and people who won't come back.

It makes me laugh to think that muggle London is still trying to sort it all out. Their ability to turn blind eyes to events are beyond my comprehension. It is a good place to escape, however, it has no benefit.

I would love to go back a few years, do things differently, end in a different place and not in this sodding rot.
