Tuesday - April 15th

Who: James and Lloyd
When: Late Tuesday Night
Where: James' Apartment
What: James is in need of a friend and Lloyd comes to the rescue.

Ham and Swiss on white with mustard, lettuce, and tomato. That's what Lloyd ended up with. And James was having the same minus the lettuce and tomato, add pickle. It wasn't until he'd started on the sandwich for the other demon that he'd decided he was hungry as well. He'd not eaten dinner. Point in fact, he'd hardly eaten for days, but he was going to eat tonight. He was even going to have some chips, or crisps as Lloyd liked to call them, and a glass of milk to go with it. The sandwiches were done, plated, and sat upon the coffee table, James sitting on the sofa, the room lit by the dim light of a nearby table lamp, the TV set to a random station for the sake of background noise as he waited.

In addition to the sandwiches on the table, the stack of photographs from St Lucia were on one side, and on the other side were the items that Will had returned to James, the suit neatly folded with the earrings and the chocolate bar sat on top of them. He kept staring at them. He kept putting them away and then taking them out again only to put them in the same exact spot where he could see them. Why, he didn't really know. Perhaps he was just a glutton for punishment. Or maybe he just needed something that had belonged to the angel nearby, even if it only made him miss him more.

Clad in only a pair of plaid pajama pants and a white t-shirt, James leaned back on the couch, moving his arms up to fold them over his face as he closed his eyes, exhaled a sigh, and waited exactly like that for the other man to arrive. He'd unlocked the door so that Lloyd could let himself in. And though he'd sworn to himself that he wasn't tired, he'd nearly dozed off that way before he finally heard the doorknob turn.

Thurs April 10th

WHO: Lloyd & Garret
WHERE: Lloyd's humble abode.
WHEN: Thursday April 10th
WHAT: It's been over a week since the break up and Garret ends their mutual avoidance by paying him a formal visit.
RATING: god knows. not good anyway

The last week had been eventful. End of engagement and relationship followed by two day binge fest, then a 'baking lesson' with Fisher (it had been the most sexual cookery lesson Lloyd had ever done. In fact the only one) which was then followed by a night at James' apartment, topped off the next day with being picked up by a random, hot stranger, another night at James' apartment, another meeting with said stranger, Wednesday had brought another busy work session and finally today was a day for himself. It had been... lonely. Without some drama to distract him other than his own personal woes, Lloyd was allowed to dwell on the silence of his apartment. It had never mattered before. When he'd first arrived he was quite used to there not being anything else going on or expecting someone over, but now... Garret's noise wasn't there. And Lloyd was doing all he could to fill that void.

The television was on, sounds of a sizzling fry-up dinner in the background, the first substantial food for several days. His diet was on hold for now, he'd start running at the weekend. Things were buzzing around his head for what he must do and remember, when a knock was at the door. Lloyd trotted over to answer it, figuring it'd be James or Fisher or someone. He was wrong.

Having not seen Garret all week it hadn't even come into his head that they would, eventually, end up face to face again. Seeing the pathfinder standing at his door was unexpected, so much so that Lloyd had his armour down and the huge, swinging wrecking ball plowed into his stomach. All the good his friends had done him over the past ten days vanished, and suddenly Lloyd was back five minutes after their break-up conversation with a shattered heart and no mind at all.

"H...." No words. Anywhere. Fuck he loved him so much. He was transfixed by those eyes, his own watering. Lloyd swallowed and tried again. "Hello..."

Monday - April 7th, 2008

Who: James, Lloyd and Devon
When: Monday Night
Where: James' Apartment
What: James needs some professional insight.
Rated: TBD

The past two days had been terrible. Fisher was angry at him, for one, which was probably for the best. If he kept pushing, then maybe he'd run the man off completely. Then he wouldn't have to worry about something else happening between the two of them that shouldn't. His sister hadn't even spoken to him since he got back, hadn't spoken to him since they'd had that terrible fight while he was in St Lucia. He felt guilty about what he'd told Will, about what he was feeling, and that only seemed to stab him in the gut like a knife each and every time he looked at his son. And Will... he was back to his normal self, like James should have known he would be but had hoped he wouldn't. It really got to him, the flirting, even if he wouldn't admit it. It was just another thing to add to the list of things he was unhappy about right now, a list which was constantly growing.

James was just... miserable and confused ever since he'd stepped foot back on TJS grounds and he had no idea what to do about it. So he'd called in the professional even if the man couldn't really give him an unbiased opinion. But maybe unbiased wasn't really what he needed at all.

It was promptly at seven when James heard the knocking on the door. Of course someone knew how to be on time. "Devon, can you get that?" He yelled from the bathroom where he was busy washing his hands. The patter of little feet could be heard running to the door which was promptly swung open, a pair of striking blue eyes (just like his father) staring up at the man on the other side.

"Hello." He said, and smiled, showing off his missing two front teeth which still hadn't grown back from where they'd fallen out several weeks back. "Are you Lloyd?" His daddy had told him that one of his friends was coming over tonight, one he'd never met before. And he'd never met this man before so he could only assume that this was the friend he was talking about. "Would you please come inside?" He asked, as polite as could be, taking a step the side to make room for him. "Daddy's in the bathroom."

Friday April 4th

Who: Lloyd and Fisher
Where: Lloyd's apartment
When: Friday afternoon, around 6ish
What: Fisher needs life skills! Betty is the best person to teach him. With... uncertain results.
Rating: tbc

Lloyd wore his red apron as planned, getting everything ready. Mixing bowls, ingredients, the oven warming already. Everything and anything Fisher wanted to make was able to be done today. Bread, cupcakes, pancakes, biscuits, even quiche! The boy needed some skills, and as he'd said the ones he had already were not really useful for everyday life. Lloyd also needed a healthy distraction and as he'd been cooking for about five hours a day since Wednesday, it seemed only fitting that he share it with someone else as well as pass on some learning.

His stereo was on in the kitchen and he was bopping along, fixing up the measuring weights and trying to ignore the notion that Garret was down in the apartment below, maybe even able to hear the music which was being played. Lloyd had to get his mind off this and Fisher would be a nice distraction.

Wednesday March 26th 2008

Who: Dante and Lloyd
What: Returning a marker (and other things)
Where: Lloyd's Office
When: Wednesday late morning
Rating: R for Dante

Since he had nothing to do, and he wasn't ready to see Roger yet, Dante was wandering throughout the school sneakily. Security really was a joke around here. Although, in fairness, there were over 200 students here so keeping track of every single one of them must have been damn near impossible. Plus he had seen that Garret guy at least once, and all he'd gotten was a funny look before he kept walking. Maybe Garret assumed Dante was Nox's secret gay lover. That idea made the man smirk. Anything to give Nox a hard time Dante was in favor of.

Still in yesterday's clothes, the elemental/golem discovered a stolen marker still in his pocket. Lloyd's marker. Obviously, Lloyd was next on the list. Striding easily, his body cooperating for the moment, Dante was soon standing in front of the demon's office door. The doorknob was still a little skewed from when he'd broken in last night. Grabbing the knob, Dante expected it to be locked, and was quite suprised when it turned easily and suddenly he was stumbling into the office, looking up at Lloyd's familiar (and suprised) face.

Who: Fisher and Lloyd
What: NOT using drugs to cope
Where: Lloyd's Apartment
When: Friday Evening
Rating: PG 13ish

Hopefully Garret wasn't with Lloyd tonight. Fisher had been avoiding everyone the past day, keeping to himself and not talking much. So pretty much he was acting like he'd been acting all week. The big difference was that now, he felt about ten times worse. It was all too tempting to go to Rez, get some blow to sort this shit out, make life less complicated. But he kept hearing what Lyle had told him. Use the people he kept disappointing to help him stay off the shit. He needed to stay off the shit.

He knocked on Lloyd's apartment door, foot tapping anxiously while waiting for the demon to answer. The frail medium looked a lot more near death than usual, his skin pale and his eyes dark and sunken. Obviously he hadn't slept last night. When the door finally opened he didn't speak a word, simply ducked beneath Lloyd's arm to slip inside, going right over to the couch. He grabbed a pillow and hugged it to his chest as he sat down, pulling up his knees to curl into himself. Fisher stared at the tv blankly, his lips just a touch pouty.

He noticed everything about him; pallour, expression, mood, body language... he was practically screaming DISTRESSED!. )

Saturday March 15th 2008

Who: Garret and Lloyd
What: More talk
Where: Garret's Apartment
When: Saturday Evening
Rating: TBD

He'd been going to anyway, but the moment Garret said to get down there Lloyd had sprinted to his fiance's apartment as fast as his legs could carry him. He could tell Garret was upset and his whole body was screaming out for him to go and take care of him. What could he do but obey?

Yes they were underdoing trouble in their relationship but really they'd been fools to believe everything would be fine and dandy after two years apart and a hasty reconicilation. The way they'd left it hadn't been favourable. They had only briefly discussed it and apart from concluding that Lloyd missed him terribly and Garret couldn't live without him, nothing more had really been said. Cracks were beginning to show already, the same cracks that had broken them apart those years ago. Lloyd didn't want that to happen again. It couldn't happen again.

He banged on the door within 60 seconds, anxiously awaiting Garret's greeting.

Forgiveness implied he was okay and he was definitely not okay. )

Who: Garret and Lloyd
What: Talking
Where: Lloyd's Apartment
When: Wednesday Evening
Rating: R for cursing

As promised, Garret was bringing chinese takeout to Lloyd. The smell of it was making him a bit sick, but part of that neausea was guilt anyway. Cherry had been right, he needed to tell Lloyd what had happened between them. Garret needed to tell Lloyd everything. He was very stupid when it came to Lloyd, and he hated it. Granted, Garret had always had a temper and he'd always been jealous, but something about Lloyd brought out the worst in him.

It was four thirty (according to his father's pocket watch) when he arrived at Lloyd's door. A fair bit earlier than they had agreed on, but Garret found he couldn't sleep. So after drinking an entire pitcher of water he'd passed out on the couch for almost three hours, needed to pee like mad and then couldn't fall back asleep. At least his head wasn't throbbing anymore.

Knocking, Garret was anxious. He masked it well behind an easy smile but his stomach was in knots. Lloyd was not going to forgive him this time. Why would he? Obviously he could do a great deal better with his pick of students. A scowl crossed his lips just as the door opened, and he quickly replaced it with a smile. "I'm early," he said. There had been a lot more he'd wanted to say, something cute and charming. But seeing Lloyd's face was like a punch in the stomach, and his gusto was momentarily stolen from him.

Tuesday 11th

Who: Lloyd and Fisher
Where: Random bar!
When: Tues night
What: Lloyd needs to stop worrying and Fisher wants to catch some tail. A queenie night out!
Rating: R for at least swearing.

Lloyd had no idea what he was doing. Garret could want to come over any minute, even want to talk to him via phone or internet and wonder what the hell was happening when the demon didn't answer. But no. Lloyd was venturing out with his ex-lover's ex-fiance and about to get drunk. Wasted, almost, and for a number of reasons he didn't wnat to think about. And the medium had told him to bring condoms which Lloyd could only assume was intended for the many men Fisher wanted to pick up.

A wallet full of cash, quick change and hair style and Lloyd was outside at his car exactly ten minutes after he'd told Fisher. He might have loosely organised this on a whim but he still wasn't being tardy. As soon as he saw the medium approach him he opened the driver door. "Navigate me," he said simply, then got in, waiting only until Fisher had shut his side before revved up the engine and zipped out of the car park.

Friday March 7th 2008

Who: Fisher and Lloyd
What: Sex? (unlikely!)
Where: Lloyd's apartment
When: Friday Evening
Rating: R for cursing

It has nothing to do with James. That was the mantra that went through Fisher's mind as he ran (actually ran) to Lloyd's apartment. It wasn't about James. It was about sex, about freedom, about just screwing someone until they were both exhausted. If Charlie had been willing Fisher would be running there instead. If Starbuck had been willing Fisher would have found a way to fly there.

Finally there, Fisher stopped in front of Lloyd's door, panting. he was so badly out of shape, it was kind of pathetic. Fisher knocked on the door, taking a few deep breaths to hopefully quell the fire in his lungs. When Lloyd finally opened the door, Fisher planted a hand on the demon's chest, pushing him back into the room. With a cocky smirk on his face, Fisher walked into the place like he owned it, shutting the door behind them. "You're over dressed," he grinned, pressing his chest to the demon's, tilting his head up to kiss him.

Friday 22nd Feb

Who: James and Lloyd
Where: Lloyd's office.
When: Friday 22nd at 5pm.
What: Lloyd's worried about James, but the only way he can get him to fucking talk is by chaning him to the goddamn patient's chair! Not literally...
Rating: tbc, but probably swearing.

Lloyd shouldn't have been nervous, but he was. He hadn't seen James in ages, the younger demon choosing to stay away from after everything that had happened. Of course he still blamed Lloyd for a lot of things, which the shrink understood - somewhat. And the atmosphere between the two was strained at best. But that didn't explain why he was worried this meeting would be the worst idea he'd ever had; James was hostile, but had also declared he was suicidal, or at least faux-joked about it. Now Lloyd was worried.

As he waited he tried to keep calm, sorted through his papers. The silver ring on his wedding finger was turned a few times in anxiety. Every now and then he'd look up at the door, expecting it to burst open but he forced his mind away from that. When he'd finally distracted himself though it was time for James to enter, and when the two demons set eyes on each other Lloyd simply coughed a little.

"Take a seat."

Thursday February 14th 2008

Who: Garret and Lloyd
What: The Perfect Valentine's Day
Where: Garret's Apartment
When: Thursday Evening
Rating: NSFW

Today had gone perfectly. Of course Lloyd had eventually realized what was going on, what with people taking him out of his office at steady intervals throughout the day, but it didn't matter. The demon seemed completely pleased with everything, and he had no idea how great his day was going to end. Checking the clock, Garret winced- Lloyd was going to be here in less then ten minutes and he wasn't done cooking yet. It was messy and his kitchen looked like a hurricane had hit. He'd hoped to clean a little before Lloyd got here, if only to avoid that horrified look on his face he got whenever he set foot in Garret's kitchen after he'd tried cooking anything. He didn't want Lloyd to feel compulsed to clean up, which he would, the urge nagging him throughout the entire evening. Hopefully the demon would run a bit late. Unlikely, but hope springs eternal.

By the time Lloyd knocked on the door, Garret had managed to toss his dirty pots and pans into the sink (covering them with a towel because, well, there were a lot of them) and wiped down the countertops. Dinner was still in the oven but the apartment smelled fantastic. That was a good sign, wasn't it? That and the fire alarm hadn't gone off yet. The pathfinder answered the door, wearing nothing but an apron, bikini briefs and a smile. "Hey there, handsome," he grinned. "Get in here."

Lloyd Harris... will you marry me? )

Feb 12th, 2008 / Tuesday

Who: Summer and Lloyd
Where: Lloyd's office
When: noon
What: Summer needs someone to talk to!

Nervous? Oh, she was nervous. More so because this was a new school, with a new shrink. She had already spoken to the shrink at her old school, and other grief counselors. She was familiar with the setting - the comfy furniture, the leafy plants, the manicured hands - and that was not what was making her palms sweaty. No, the idea of rehashing the entire story to someone new, someone who might just tell her "get the fuck over it, then!" was what had her knees quivering.

Summer slid herself in through the crack in the door as if she were made of jelly, eyes down. When all of her was free of the doorway, including the ends of her scarf and her bag, she looked up. "Hey. Uhm, Lloyd?"

Wednesday - 1/30/08

Who: James and Lloyd
When: Wednesday Evening
Where: The Infirmary
What: Lloyd did a stupid thing.

James wasn't in a pleasant mood. First of all, his head was throbbing like someone had punched him directly in his temple. Second, he was pissed off at Fisher now that he remembered him and the realization of what he had done had hit him. Third, Devon was being a terror now that it was all over and done with because he too had a horrible aching head and was just generally freaked out. And then, to top it all off, icing on the proverbial shit cake that was his life right now, he heard that Lloyd had tried to off himself, and sure enough, when he went to the infirmary to confirm, confirmation was given. And that was where he was right now.

Garret wasn't there. James didn't think enough about him to be thankful for that but he might have been had he actually been even remotely concerned. Lloyd was sleeping when he got there, and as much as he hated to admit it, his anger began to dissipate a little with each moment that passed while he stood there watching him, waiting for him to show some sign of waking. But when his eyes began to flutter open, he felt that annoyance surge upward once more, and he asked him, in a harsh voice, "What the fuck were you thinking?"

Thursday 1/31/08

Who: Lloyd and Fisher
What: Massive Apology
Where: Lloyd's Office
When: Thursday Afternoon
Rating: PG-R

Fisher was slouching more than usual as he made his way to the staff offices, a white business envelope in his hand. In it was five twenty dollar bills, fresh from the ATM on campus. He owed them to Lloyd, owed a lot more than that to Lloyd but at least this was a start. He didn't know if he could face the demon yet. Of all the people in the entire school to be caught with when everything went crazy, why did it have to be Lloyd Harris?

Holding the envelope, he stood in front of the shrink's door, debating. If he gave this money back then Lloyd might try to contact him, and he didn't think he could handle seeing him for awhile. It would probably be best if he never saw him again at all. Still... he felt terrible about what happened, and now that his memory was back he understood why Lloyd had looked so confused and crestfallen that night.

With a deep breath he slipped the envelope under the door, assuming Lloyd wasn't there. Why would he be? No one was actually doing anything this week. With another pause and instant regret, Fisher stared at that space under the door, seriously debated reaching under to grab the envelope back, then turned to start to go.

Friday: 2/1/08

Who: Nox and Lloyd
When: Friday noonish
Where: Garret's apartment
What: Nox brings Lloyd some lunch!

Nox had lots of work to do, but a man couldn't function without food. He headed to the dining hall and began grabbing food, when he realized he should grab some extra. While it was likely that Garret kept food in his apartment for Lloyd to eat, or perhaps took the man meals himself, Nox decided to take a chance that a delivery would be appreciated. He gathered a variety of foods, both healthy and not, and headed in the direction of the staff apartments.

He balanced the loaded tray on his left hand and knocked on the door to Garret's apartment with his right. "Lloyd?" he called inside. "It's Nox." He supposed he could have called the man to warn that he was coming, but it had been a mostly impromptu decision, which was odd for Nox, because he liked to plan everything.
