I thought at first I was just confused because I spend so much time around Alex -- Alex was all I was smelling, instead of the whiskey and cigarette smell my dad usually has.

Okay so I don't know if it's a me-thing because of my broken healing, but did you know that there's a certain level of coffee-consumption even in werewolves where you evolve past the need for sleep altogether? I designed twelve garments last night.

Hey gang! It's been about a year since we defeated the Nogitsune, and a ton's happened within that year, both good and bad. But it's been mostly good here, right? We've all made new friends that we wouldn't have had the opportunity to get to know otherwise, gotten jobs, and generally had decent lives now that Beacon Hills is in the rear view.

So I'm throwing a huge party this weekend; you're all invited. Bring anything; I've got a ton of junk food so if you want veggies, bring veggies. It's going to be at my old weapons storage (address) and not the apartment (see Lyle? I do respect you). There aren't any weapons or traps or things in the warehouse; I wound up moving them to a bigger unit. Come unarmed please, or Isla and I are going to frisk you, and we may do it anyway.

I also just saw 'Up' and am feeling hella sappy, so. Argent out!

TIS ALMOST THE SEASON FOR NY FASHION WEEK. I've rearranged my work schedule and gotten ahead in my schoolwork and everything. People who have things they've ordered from me, check your email! I sent a mass of updates today to everyone I'm doing things for -- most of it is on the more finished side of things! I've been hella productive.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, FASHION WEEK. I'm really really hoping there's a penis cloak-related incident in New York, too. London shouldn't have all the fun! And I have a lot of opinions on this anyway, but I won't go into them. (NSFW, Rick Owens designed his show around penis peepholes in the outfits.)

I know that it's the season, and everyone is debating things for Valentine's Day and how to spend it... but please, for the love of God, do not end up in the ER on that day because you got something lodged in one of your orifices.

You may think I'm just trying to embarrass Scottie with this, but I swear to you I wouldn't say anything if there wasn't a shockingly high number of people I have to x-ray because they inserted a foreign object where they shouldn't have and it got stuck.

That's it! 2015 is the dawn of a New Era in my life. No longer will I be a people-pleasing doormat desperate for validation and approval! I'm going to make something of myself. Just because I had a little bit of a crisis last March doesn't mean that I have to let some stupid television show control me and my mindset. I'm going to get a better job, one that actually uses my skills and isn't some soul-sucking customer service hell-hole with no opportunity for advancement. I'm going to figure out whether or not I want to go to school. I'm going to figure out my life. I'm going to stop eating cookie butter for breakfast and I'm going to tell people when they're being assbutts, and I'm going to be a better, more-secure person capable of decision-making and being strong and reliable and all of those adult things.

Didn't get a chance for a proper introduction before, but I've finally caught up on... most things, I guess. It's not all completely insane anymore.

I'm Marcus Delgado. They tell me I'm the male counterpart to Melissa McCall, which makes a pretty strange amount of sense even without seeing the proof, so. Most of the kids back home call me Mr. D or Nurse D or yo, hot dad- whatever that mean, but Marcus is fine too.

This may be the first New Years Eve I haven't worked in... a decade? I always feel a little better being in the ER rather than at home, so for my sanity, stay out of trouble? I'm not bothering to direct this at anyone in particular, you know who you are.

Also didn't realize the full moon is rapidly approaching. The temporary housing doesn't offer a whole lot of room, but what space I have is available to share.
