Well, at least no one's pointing a gun at my face. But apparently this is America, and while I now have the right to vote, it's dampened quite a lot by the fact that the problem of The Great War being resolved and manifesting into a dozen other issues.

Lydia Frye. It was 1918 from where I come, and a very... wrecked area of London. The beach is a nice respite, but I apologize if I'm not quite on top of things in this century. I didn't pack well for a trip to the tropics of the future.

How do you lot manage to moderate yourselves when the holidays come around? Athos, Porthos, I think I may have to start selling my body to afford all of these Noel gifts. At least I've been assured by several on the island that I'm worth quite a lot of coin?

On the topic of Noel festivities, madame, I wonder if you had any preferences for how you'd like to celebrate? If you would allow it, I would like to be there for both Eve and Christmas morn - though I've been assured that we are also welcome to Christmas breakfast at the house of the older set.

I believe it's safe to announce at this point, because if I don't, Porthos will probably have the thing over and done with before I know it. After a great many years together, raising a son and building quite the family with two others that fit in well to our puzzle of madness and love, Porthos and I are getting married. Officially.

So far all we've decided is that it'll be quite the party on the beach. Likely sooner, rather than later, and you'll all be invited. But in the meantime, we accept congratulatory drinks, hugs and gifts. Also the planning of a joint enterrement de vie de garçon would be most welcome, before we put on the shackles.

And here I was led to believe all Americans were uncivilized. How wrong they were. I was told the Musketeers were here, when I asked about them? We were in the middle of a very heated battle when I found my way here, and I would know that they are whole and healthy, if possible. They're too old to be getting into this much trouble.

Remy's Wine Bar will be hosting a tasteful Halloween Masquerade Event, where the person with the best mask wins a very expensive bottle of wine that's probably too good for you. $20 a head for entry will get you two glasses of wine and a plate of gourmet cheese. We will have live music and dancing until midnight, with the winner being announced around 10 PM. 21+ entry.

Sweet underage children of mine, you will be not allowed in, so feel free to make other plans, but know that I will be watching you.
