I picked up Lean In at the book store yesterday, and even though I'm only three-quarters of the way through I feel comfortable recommending it. However, even though the author is the COO of Facebook, it still doesn't mean that I will "break down" and create an account of my own. No one needs to know what I'm doing every moment of the day.

The portal might be unpredictable, but it certainly has a theme. The HPD told me it's 2014 now. Has anyone been able to map the portal's behaviour yet, or at least solve some of its mysteries?

Although, even as I write that, I'm sure the portal would just suck that person up and spit them out at another time. Merlin forbid somebody solve the riddle.

I remember reading about alternate realities once, but I never fathomed that I'd be dropped in the Pacific Ocean years in the future, told I was fictional, and given my own mobile all before my first cup of tea. That seems more like something that would happen to Harry or Ron, but, if I'm being honest, one of them would probably forget something important and I'd have to follow them through anyway.
