FYI, immediate family (you know who you are) are requested for birthday dinner for both the 36 year old and the 2 year old on Wednesday. Because we're not insane, I'm doing private home catering - so if you have any special requests, speak up now!

Bellamy's too chicken to say this (seriously, you should have seen how fast he suddenly got 'busy,') so I'll bring it up. If you're going to be sexually active here - and I'm not passing any judgement with what you decide - please make sure you have the proper protection to prevent any unplanned surprises. Besides a miracle, I seriously don't understand how no one ended up pregnant or with an STI back home.

That being said, there are plenty of options when it comes to contraceptions: male and female condoms, contraceptive implants, injections, the pill... Just to name a few. Different things work for different people, so when you're ready to start them let me know and I'll help.

I realize this is last minute, and on a weeknight, but I'd like to throw a party for Darcy's birthday tomorrow. And, by extension, have it be for all Darcys and any family and friends of theirs. I figure the shop has enough room to hold a good amount of people, so I'm closing up early in the afternoon and setting it up there. What I need from you all is the following:

1) Attendees would be appreciated. Obviously. A heads up if you're coming would be even better.
2) People in DC to snag the other two Darcys and bring them here? Unless they have other plans, which is completely understandable.
3) Someone to pick up the cake I ordered last week, if at all possible. It's at [insert hip cake bakery here] and should look like this. (If it doesn't look like this, I need you to channel some Targaryen ferocity and pitch a fit, so if you're soft-hearted, maybe pass on this one.)
4) Someone who knows how to make virgin drinks that taste almost as good as the real thing. I will pay handsomely for this one.
5) Before and after manual labor. I've already signed up mini-me, but extra hands wouldn't be unwelcome.

Under no circumstances is anyone to allow me near wine again.
