Shore leave has certainly been an adventure and I have come upon many generous souls who have aided me in my travels, but I believe it is time I return to Hawaii and place down roots. A man can only wander without purpose for sometime before meaning must be found. Father's, what do you do in this new land to keep the time at bay? I spoke to some men during my 'road trip' about my life upon the Jolly Roger and it was suggested that I pursue a career as a fisherman. It isn't as adventurous as piracy but I suppose there is no shame in honest work.
