There are plenty of great things about living in an apartment with guys - they're good at carrying groceries, making sure there aren't leftovers, and keep the creeps away when we go out - but I have a confession to make. Just so we're clear, HPD, giving me a new phone isn't enough to make up for dropping me in the middle of some nerd's wet dream without my consent.

One of the benefits of going back to work is leaving my daughter like this and seeing how long it takes Lily to find her. The other benefit is listening to people whine about the safety measures I put on my office to make sure no one took it while I was gone. I'm not even a little sorry that the new hire was red for an entire day.
