I don't know how anyone manages to work that hard. My sense of smell is forever distorted.

With more than a little deep pockets help, I'll be reopening my shop on the 14th of June. Mad About Hats will be located at [somewhat trendy address in NYC] and there's an automatic 20% discount for you portal types, so I expect to see at least a few of your faces on opening day.

And speaking of faces, I'll just apologize now for the fact that you'll probably be seeing entirely too much of mine on tv over the next two weeks. I don't have years of publicity to work from here so I have to pimp myself out if I want to make this work.

Now that I'm safe and sound back in New York City, I've been looking at the numbers of the arrivals last month, going over the data and things have been on an increase lately. So I did a little number crunching and moving money around and decided to aide the HPD in padding a Refugee Fund. Specifically for new arrivals, to bump up a monthly stipend so they can move, get settled in their own places, start school and get jobs without worrying about cost of living for the first few months.

Along the same vein, I could use an assistant. Requirements would include living in New York City, a knowledge of up-to-date technology and how to use an electronic filing system, answer phones correctly (aka if it's someone I don't want to talk to, hang up on them), answer emails and occasionally fetch me dinner, coffee and my husband would appreciate if you sent me home at an appropriate hour.
