We made hand turkeys at the beginning of the week and apparently one of the little ones stuck theirs in my sweater pocket without me noticing. It's labelled "Mr Erza Turky," has curly yarn hair, and even has little scars on its finger-feathers. They noticed one of mine recently and had to share their own scar stories after hearing my (very child-proofed) explanation of how it happened.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm excited to see those of you we're visiting today.

Pretty thankful for the fact that I didn't find out until I was an adult that I'm not anywhere near as smart as a seven-year-old.
