Less than four weeks to go and my feet are officially done with anything that aren't slippers.

Well then.




I guess there's nothing like a refreshing and unexpected drop in the ocean to start the day off right. And here I was thinking I'd be spending the whole day in the the African heat.

Clearly, public appearances are paying off, as my client list has grown substantially in the last week, both on the jewelry and smithing fronts. (One attempted to commission me to make a replica of an Elvish crown, of all things.) Keeping my windows open to relieve some of the heat in the room has also afforded me a rather grouchy looking stray cat who tends to lay in my sill and glare at me while I work.

Much as it pains my pride to say it, I may need an apprentice. At the very least, someone to keep the cat from staging an attack.
