Ophelia managed not to panic and slipped on a long-sleeved dark purple t-shirt to match her hair. This was just a friendly meeting, so she'd do her best to make Mandy and herself feel as comfortable as possible. She took a deep breath and locked the door behind her, making sure she had the bag of nail polish as she headed to Mandy's room. She was going to be okay, she told herself, and knocked on the door. Ophelia brushed her hair out of her face and calmed herself, getting ready to smile in greeting when Mandy opened the door.
"Hi!" she said as the door opened to reveal the other girl. "I brought nail polish, a little too much but I have so many bottles... Blue is such a pretty color!" Rambling was a sure thing if she did not stop herself and she closed her mouth, blushing just a little. Maybe she could go into the room so she was not going to make a fool of herself. When she got enough space, she walked inside and placed her bag on the bed, nervousness increasing. Nerves meant she might start talking a whole bunch of crap she would regret later and that was a very bad idea. Ophelia was not going to worry as she told Simon earlier and shone Mandy a cheerful smile.
She was ready for this. "My hair is so unmanageable, I'm sorry! You'll have to do a lot of brushing or straightening. It won't be fun." She looked quite apologetic.
